Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted October 18, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 18, 2013 May well do just that. Got plenty of photos from the day kicking around, as well as the event fanzine (that I was writing for at that point). Â Got some great stories to tell about that day... Paid Members Big Benny HG Posted October 18, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 18, 2013 We had a fairly decent attempt at taking a MASSIVE UKFF group photo in the foyer during the interval too. I'll dig that out too.
Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2013 Wasn't a great show by FWA's standards at the time, but still an incredibly memorable day. Really? I thought it was one of their best shows by far. Solid, stacked card- definitely up there with Uprising, Revival and a couple of the best Civic Hall ones. The Dart
I'm with Hatman on that. Wasn't a great show by their standards at the time. Better than Uprising 3 though!
Paid Members PunkStep Posted October 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2013 Didn't see Uprising 3. Uprising 2 felt a bit flat, probably because of the bomb scare.
Paid Members Teedy Kay Posted October 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2013 Jack Xavier should never have beaten Homicide, and the lack of the Cop Killa made everyone go 'meh'! Â From there it was downhill really; Â Nikita / Sloan had nothing really behind it of note, and would have been better if Sloan had cheated a win after a comeback. Â Punk/Cabana had been done to death on the US Indies, and they seemed to pretty much phone a half arsed replica match in here. Â The Family vs Ulf and Whipwreck was your normal hardcore halfway point FWA match, which included Whipwreck being a stupid bastard to Travell. Â Hade got a belt because he was an Alex Shane prot
Callum1993
Or just Paul Wight, with Michael Barrymore as his manager. Â Wonderful

Paid Members Statto Posted October 20, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted October 20, 2013 Catchy theme though. I still find myself walking around singing little bits of this under my breath from time to time: Â
Dean Ayass
There was a squash match That was Burchill's first official match, with me debuting as his manager, in a handicap match against Double Dragon (Ross Jordan & Raj Ghosh). Nice to see that everyone remembers it

pgi86
Dory Funk Jr. and Terry Funk, combined age 141 years, are wrestling for All Japan on the 27th. Would I be correct in assuming that's the oldest combined age for a tag team ever?
