The Wednesday is a day where I have no wrestling scheduled, and Saitama is only 3 quid on the train, so I might have to check that out, cheers! On a slightly related tip, Emi Sakura's Gatoh Move are running Aug 9 - 11. They have other shows earlier in August but Ameba is down for maintenance at the moment so I can't check. There was me thinking they only ran in Thailand! I need to stop getting my Joshi schedules from Purolove. I see off Joshifans they've been running Ichigaya which is no trouble, that might be a goer for the Friday. Additionally Ayumi Kurihara's retirement show is early August too (5/8). Oh, then fuck Big Japan. Where is this?? Is it WAVE? This is a must, I love Ayumi. Way too many people in the G1 again but good to see Ishii get a spot. Shame Yano and Yujiro haven't been blown off into space and it would have been nice to get Shibata/Ibushi. I'm tempted to defend Yano, but I'm still not over him beating Marufuji. So fuck him. I like Yujiro, but really only when he's wrestling a monster heel that pounds him. He does a fine line in amusing "thinks he's winning, then gets smashed" matches. I'll go Tanahashi putting Naito over in the final. I reckon at this point you can only give Naito another title shot if he's winning, and I have a crazy idea that they will use Nakamura to transition the belt from Okada to Naito if they run with Naito. I think Okada stays strong if he loses the belt only to one of the two big guns, and Naito gets properly put on the map if he takes it from Tana or Shinsuke. Naito beating Okada I think isn't great for either at this stage, I'd use Hash or Shinsuke as a go-between, and since Okada v Tanahashi is in danger of becoming "done to death," Nakamura's your man. So, for now I'm hanging my hat on Tanahashi v Nakamura final (it's been long enough since they last wrestled each other) with Nakamura going over. He can take the belt from Okada, then give Naito 4-6 months to rack up some big wins and let him take it from Nakamura. There's a couple of fresh defences in between for Nakamura in Devitt and Shibata although I can't imagine Tana or Okada not being the challenger for Wrestle Kingdom. After that. "New Beginning 2014" would probably be ideal for Nakamura v Naito. Unfortunately, Naito's first title defence will probably be against Yujiro.
