Paid Members SiMania Posted August 20, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted August 20, 2010 A bit like what Rangers fans expected the bank to do.
David
Be honest now, the Celtic fans would be heartbroken if Rangers went to the wall. Â Both clubs need one another to survive.
FUM
Be honest now, the Celtic fans would be heartbroken if Rangers went to the wall. Both clubs need one another to survive.  I don't think Celtic or Rangers need each other to survive but I do think both fans are lying if they think they're going to be happy without one another. If any went to the wall, the other would end up just being on level with every other team in the league.

Paid Members unfitfinlay Posted August 20, 2010 Paid Members Share Posted August 20, 2010 right now we can pay our debt at the arranged rate and still spend... celtics turnover is decreasing 12% year on year for the last 3 years, rangers has improved the last 2 years.. we are much more stable club wise than you think. Tic have big backers who just put bits of cash in when needed... you havent even paid mowbray what u owed him yet... Â That's ridiculous. Â Celtic are in a far more stable financial state than we are at the moment. Yes, their financial backers only spend money when it's needed but at least they have that option! Rangers' owner doesn't have a pot to piss in himself at the moment which is why the bank has been running the Club. While it is unlikely Lloyds could still pull the plug on either Rangers or Murray International itself and put the Club out of business. Until the debt is cleared or the club is sold that possibility is always going to be there. Â Celtic, on the other hand, have their future entirely in their own hands.
