Paid Members Egg Shen Posted December 31, 2013 Author Paid Members Share Posted December 31, 2013 former Decapitated drummer Kerim Lechner has posted audition videos online to join Slipknot... Â Â bang them on a good sound system or through headphones, with the drums so high in the mix they sound fucking crushing. Give the man the job. Professor Paul's Bin
AFI's 2013 album Burials is fairly good. Is there any rumor of them coming over to the UK this year for a tour?
lightningxlock
It's really good. Much better than the crap that was 'Crash Love'. I'm fully expecting them to be over this year
Twatters
Joey Jordison leaving Slipknot seems to be a bit strange Says he did not quit
Paid Members mim731 Posted January 2, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted January 2, 2014 Joey Jordison leaving Slipknot seems to be a bit strange Says he did not quit  The fact that both his and the band's statements mention legal stuff, it sounds like either it was about money/rights to the songs, or there is something very odd happening. Imagine it'll all come out in the wash shortly though.
KingOfMetal
Must its either a money issue or he wants to dedicate time to Scar The Martyr which the label wanted him devoted to Slipknot when the next album surfaced. Â As we say, it'll all come out eventually
Merzbow
Scar The Martyr  I hadn't heard of them until just now and went for a listen on Youtube, first thought was that they must love a bit of Paradise Lost then I found out the album was mixed by the same guy who produced Symbol of Life and In Requiem. They don't seem so bad, could listen to them more than I could Slipknot.
KingOfMetal
I've still to get round to checking them out. They were meant to be on the Alice In Chains/Ghost tour at the back end of last year but pulled out to do their US dates.

Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 2, 2014 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 2, 2014 love that lineup, pardon the pun but it really does offer an alternative kind of festival lineup to the usual fair. Probably a bit too close to Bloodstock for me though
Merzbow
Oh wow, now that's a cool line-up. Just looking at the Industrial stage brings back some memories of when I was into the more cheese filled stuff.
