Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 12, 2011 Paid Members Posted October 12, 2011 Spain are doing some particularly amazing horror and suspense stuff right now, but have been pumping out good stuff in that genre for many years now, relatively unnoticed.
Richie Freebird Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Yep, thanks for the heads up gents. I
Loki Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 I've recorded that weird-ass Italian film about a family that keeps its children isolated on a farm from the rest of the world, and shit. Can't remember the name, but it was on tv a couple of days ago. I'm aware this post isn't going as well as I'd planned, as I've not even watched it yet and have nothing of interest to say about it.
Paid Members Au Posted October 12, 2011 Paid Members Posted October 12, 2011 It's not that Greek film that Sickboy was raving about a while back? Kynodontas I think it was called.
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted October 12, 2011 Paid Members Posted October 12, 2011 Loki's got a memory like a sieve. I already told him it's bloody Greek and called Dogtooth once.
Loki Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Dogtooth, that's it. Too many years as a stoner, my memory is completely fucked. Anyway, it's a foreign film so I'm anticipating lesbian sex and/or underage girls.

Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted October 12, 2011 Paid Members Posted October 12, 2011 Dogtooth looks kind of like a rural Bad Boy Bubby, which can never be a bad thing.
big mickey Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Finished Deadwood Season 1 Amazing show, Al Swearengen is a great character, one minute he's a twat, next he's funny as fuck, then shows his more compassionate side now and then.
ultimo the great Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Dogtooth, that's it. Too many years as a stoner, my memory is completely fucked. Anyway, it's a foreign film so I'm anticipating lesbian sex and/or underage girls. SPOILER - Highlight the black box to read Incest Dogtooth looks kind of like a rural Bad Boy Bubby, which can never be a bad thing. You can kind of compare the first half an hour up untill Bubby gets out. Very different overal though.
big mickey Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Started Hobo With A Shotgun I expect gore, messiness and laughs!
Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted October 12, 2011 Paid Members Posted October 12, 2011 Now I know that I'm going home in a hurry tonight (the superintendent roach sprayed the entire building, and instead of going birthday shopping for the wife, I've got to go home and make sure that the cat doesn't get gassed), I'm going to break out something nasty - I'm thinking Emmanuelle in America or A Climax of Blue Power.
Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted October 12, 2011 Moderators Posted October 12, 2011 Yeah, Dogtooth is amazing. My favourite film of 2010.
Paid Members Stephanie Posted October 12, 2011 Paid Members Posted October 12, 2011 The Ides Of March. I liked it, took a while to get going though. Been on a bit of a Gosling-Fest lately.
