Agreed with pretty much all of this. I could take them flip-flopping on Widows Bay but then they did it to around another five shows in the space of about three weeks, and I just thought what’s the point of listening to them for TV recommendations if they're going to disregard their own reviews a few weeks later. It was the Boyd Alley Cats review that was the beginning of the end for me, just a load of 'isn't Ricky great?' bollocks. I'll probably go back to them at some point as I did enjoy listening for the most part, but I did a massive podcast cull earlier this month and they were an unfortunate victim. Empire got the chop too as I've finally had my fill of Chris Hewitt's awful jokes, the ads were too frequent and too long and the move to Empire+ wasn't value for money for me.

Do you still listen to the Pilot TV podcast? I finally binned that off earlier this month as they’d gone the same way. They didn't mention the Youtube channel that much, in fairness, but it was still enough to disrupt the flow of the show (I was also fed up of their flip-flopping opinions and wasn't a fan of Steph Seelan's contributions, but that's another conversation).

Christ, I have got zero recollection of Chavo Guerrero being in AEW at all. I remember Vickie Guerrero was Andrade's manager briefly, but Chavo too? That has blown my mind a bit as I thought my memory regarding AEW was quite good! Andrade's first AEW run was utter shite, looking back. Quick partnerships with Vickie and Chavo, then he arsed around with the Hardy Family Office (remember them?) for what seemed like an eternity, then he disappeared before joining the miserable-bastard roster on Collision alongside Punk, Thunder Rosa and Miro.

I tried to make AEW Dyno a thing once and it failed miserably. I genuinely like menty b, so my judgement in this area isn't the best.

I've been slowly rebuilding my DVD/Blu-Ray collection lately. A few years back I got rid of the lot (reckon I had inbetween 1500 and 2000) when I downsized, so I'm pretty much starting from scratch. I've been picking up a lot of early to mid noughties stuff (anything that I can find for cheap) and it's made me realise that I can enjoy a lot of shit if enough time has passed between it coming out and me watching it. Tears Of The Sun - A Bruce Willis war vehicle, it's fine but Antoine Fuqua struggles with the action/shoot-out scenes meaning there's a whole load of build-up for an anticlimactic finish. Hostel - I had a memory this was all tits and torture porn. I mean, 90% of it is, but it does a half-decent job of building up suspense and creepiness before it gets to the torture stuff. Better than I remembered, but still pretty cack. Stealth - A ridiculously stupid Top Gun rip-off that makes no sense at all. I loved it! Into The Blue - Has anybody ever had a more smackable face than Scott Caan? This was alright. SWAT - Christ Colin Farrell is ridiculously attractive. Another one that's pretty daft but I still had a lot of fun with. I think I just really miss mid-budget stuff like this meaning I've got a lot of time for even the most middling ones. The Exorcism Of Emily Rose - A really interesting horror/courtroom film, unfortunately it runs out of steam around 3/4s of the way through and doesn't wrap up the horror side of things at all. Worth a watch though. Ultraviolet - Utter shite. A whole movie of early 00s music video visuals, a boring unoriginal 'story' and horrible performances across the board. One to avoid.

I'm not much of a WCW fan at all, but if you don't get a lump in your throat watching them dismantle the Worldwide set during the end credits of the final episode, you're not human.
