Given the press around Street Fighter I'd not be surprised if they want Cody vs Reigns for Crown Jewel. Ideally have them both come out dressed as their characters for a laugh.

Street Fighter Great craic. Dumb, fun and utterly silly. Loved it.

In the same way now that non fans almost always use the term "WWE Smackdown" to describe all WWE programming. -

I don't think you need to ban fireworks, they should just be treated as dangers in the hands of morons. So setting the bar to entry slightly higher seems an easy fix.
-
Fireworks should only be sold by specialist retailers, and operated only by professionals, or at least someone has had to do some very basic training on how to use them. They are exploding projectiles, and as much fun as they can be they are also very dangerous in the wrong hands. Another thing (yes I can hear it) is job application forms should not require you to submit both a CV and manually fill in forms with your experience. The information is the same, this is a waste of everyone's time. This reminds me, another thing would be that the title card at the start of the film at the cinema with the BBFC info should also have the running time included. It's a small thing, but it would make it far easier to know how long is left of the film if you haven't checked beforehand.

Surely the only time this place has been described as "contemporary".

He did a one shot against Sting at Slamboree '93 as a last minute replacement. Also some dark matches a few years later. Not sure he was ever under contract. Lanny Poffo however, is a different story. Years on the books with WCW, zero televised appearances. -

Not having this about Hade Vansen. There's still time for the "Prophecy" to be..."Realised". Fuck me that was a weird promo. Also the idea of Hade Vansen going from the FWA to fueding with The Undertaker is wild. Even now. -

At least the pyro from the case, which tbf is cool as fuck, means they're definitely not having him do an unsuccessful cash in. TKO don't put money into anything unless it's going to have an ROI. Depressingly. Penta is brilliant though. Very pleased for him. He's smashed this run in WWE in a way I didn't think was likely. -
100% this. I suspect he'd get away with slightly more than he does in terms of the content if he could actually rap to a decent standard. God awful flow.

Not verified but seen a few accounts posting that he's been fired over it, which would be absolutely hilarious if so. What a wally.

WWE Money in the Bank: New Orleans (2026) Discussion
mim731 replied to Kamran's topic in UK Fan Forum
Just to clarify, because I perhaps was not clear enough, I'm not knocking watching the current WWE product in whatever way you see fit. I am not assuming anything. I just feel there's a very very good alternative, and if this product is not for you, understandably, you might be better off not torturing yourself when there's a very viable alternative. Or don't. It was a slightly flippant point that has already encouraged more discussion than it warranted. -

Lads AEW is right there, if you don't like the WWE product there's a genuinely viable alternative in reach. Very much worth going that way rather than posting about how much you dislike this. Not knocking you doing so, just life is too short to spend time watching something you actively dislike. Personally, and probably skewed by my daughters love for WWE I quite enjoyed the show. The opener was brilliant, that BFT near fall had us jumping out of our seats. The women's ladder match was rough in places but fun all the same. Stratton winning was probably the least interesting option but I appreciate the story they're telling. I think Jacy Jayne, Roxanne or even Lash would have provided a more intriguing storyline. Poor Chelsea. Oba-Reed was fine, as was the women's three way. Main event was an odd stunt show. The amount of time people spent injured via spears seemed to vary too wildly to make sense. That said, my kids popped massively for the Ambulance spot, even if it seemed silly to me. Penta winning, was,the second best option after Owens so I'm happy. Decent show, clunky and rough in places but fun overall. -
In mid July presumably. I joke, but I do think De Zerbi will get you into a decent state given time, theres signs of it there. Then provided he doesn't blow his top (as per he will probably and flounce off) then you'll be back where you probably should be next year potentially if not sooner!

This was very much how I took his comments too rather than "twerking" for anyone. Saying nothing by giving the answers legal have given him rather than actually saying nothing. He'd have been equally castigated if he refused to answer the question.
-
What did you want Arteta to do? Burn an effigy of Sheikh Mansour and call them all cheating cunts. Considering there's an ongoing legal appeal happening I imagine he figured it better to say fuck all, which I'm not sure is pathetic as so much prudent.
-
I always got the impression that was the endgame for Cody. Not least on some level because a Rhodes booking WWE would have been unthinkable once upon a time. I would not be shocked to see Cody in the big chair and CM Punk running NXT in a few years time.
-
I've honestly never seen anything like it. I've been between jobs since March, and it's horrible out there. Just a proper bloodbath and so much competition for every role in a way I've never seen before. Good luck to everyone hunting, it's just awful currently.
-
@Frankie Crisp I don't think I could be more envious, that looks incredible! Hope you're having a brilliant time.
-
While this is true, Bella Ramsey has said she's not fussed about what pronouns are used in several interviews, so I think you're OK @Jazzy G
-
As I understand it, this was accurate. Saw a few people I know who have connections around the Ireland set up saying similar, so I'd say there's a reasonable amount of truth to it.
-
Would there be any blowback on them from advertisers etc if they move it? That's the only rationale I can think of that would give them pause to not air it. Especially as it's a taped show. It just seems like such an easy way to garner some good press, that it boggles the mind they haven't moved it unless there's a commercial/potential contractual reason not to do it.

Because none of the ingredients are rocks or despair?

I heard it suggested yesterday that if they are stripped of the titles, because of what you've mentioned that they should be like the dodgy Tour De France wins for Lance Armstrong where he was stripped, but there was effectively no winner that year rather than it going to second place. I'm not sure how that work in practice but it's an interesting idea. As for the punishment, you have to image the only way to do that without causing an even bigger headache is to have it be something forward facing, so that affects them now rather than retroactively. Then the clubs affected can either individually or as an enormous class action suit suit the fuck out of the club if they wish.
