My only hope is because he runs his own festival and has been performatively speaking out about gig prices he'll not be on this. If he is featured prominently it would need to be a much better line up for the rest of it to compensate or I'll be passing. He's the drizzling shits.

I'm sure the matches will be fine, maybe even brilliant, but both B&G matches feel a bit thrown together for my liking. It's the same issue I have with War Games for WWE, it feels more like the feuds are fit to the match rather than the other way around. I also can live without watching Copeland injure himself in a cage again.

I get that feeling for 3, it's a bit silly and does have a sort of cartoonish element that feels out of whack with the previous two, although they do explain that at least to some degree. Plus a pre-DS9 Terry Farrell, who I'm always glad to see. Agree on 2, it's a mad hodge podge of things but I quite like that in a way. Hell should be chaotic. The design work is phenomenal.

Alas everything past Bloodlines is either a film that was hastily rewritten to become a Hellraiser movie, or a quick rights grab/extension. Or both. Hellworld is quite fun, and very silly, but yeah a very mixed bag overall after 3. I did quite enjoy the 2022 remake, so I may have to revisit that as I've only seen it once.

Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth A gloriously stupid mess of a film. It lacks the world building of 2, or the straightforward horror of the original but for some reason it's endlessly entertaining. A proper final highlight before the endless parade of middling sequels that dilutes those first three films. Still Doug Bradley is excellent, as always.

I quite enjoyed the Balor-Demon reveal even if there's always a bunch of logic holes with it. The sit up under the sheet was fun. It was goofy, but it had a very silly early 90s vibe that I liked. Otherwise a fairly diverting if not especially memorable show.

I may not always enjoy his contributions but blanket banning people because we don't like what they add feels like a slippery slope. Obviously if it's a punishment as a result of his using a slur etc that's a different question, but one for the mods/the report button I reckon.

I've just finished the new Amazon adaptation of Carrie. It's obviously pissed off some of the book purists, although I think it's faithful in sprit if nothing else. It was also really enjoyable as aa modern retooling of the story. It will be interesting to see if it gets a second series, as there were rumblings about this being a plan by Mike Flanagan to create a Stephen King on screen universe, which could be a fun concept. I quite enjoyed it overall.

I had high hopes for Lyra once they did the heel turn but they've killed any momentum she had stone dead. The booking of her as a crazy cat lady has not helped. She was far better as a babyface and if they were dead set on doing the turn, it might have been better to have Bayley be the heel.

Yeah this is bang on for me. I don't like Kane for many reasons, but I can't see a wild issue with him winning a bollocks award after having a really good year. Especially as no-one else seems to have put forward a particularly convincing argument for someone being a better individual player in that time period for one reason or another.
