Agree 100%. We don't even need the parent and child bays to be by the door, we just need the room. I see people use them at my gym (they are right by the entrance) who don't have kids and it fills me with an insane amount of rage when I'm trying to get my toddler, 5 year old and all their swimming shit out of the car with 30 cm either side of the car door in my tiny regular space because all the parent and child spaces are taken by lazy fuckers who love their cars too.much.

Yeah I searched it too, fascinating stuff. You can't eat and drink at the same time because your small intestine can't handle it. You have to chew your food thoroughly because there are no stomach acids to break it down and you can only have small snack like meals

As this is now the Westlife FF, I recently saw on the news that one of the members of Westlife had some botched gastric band surgery and had to have his whole stomach removed. I had no idea a human could live without a stomach

They are working on desensitizing us to murdering each other, works well when you are pushing towards civil race wars like the US is. It's a key step in making it happen

I've been after a Surface Pro for a while now but have been slowly saving up whilst monitoring the prices. As is typical, when I saved up the money about 4 months ago, the prices were at an all time high so I held out till last week when a retailer had dropped it £25 above the all time low that I'd seen it at so I'd decided it was time to buy. It arrived on Sunday. This morning I checked the prices again (it's become a habit) and it was £75 cheaper than what I bought it for on the same retailers website. I thought I would drop them an email nicely stating that I was still in my 14 day return window and that they had dropped the price considerably. 45 minutes later and they had deposited a £75 refund in my bank account

Exactly, how did they all prep for it?! Were Year 10 out of lessons all day?! That's absolute wildness for a Year 10 class. I can not imagine how that got through safeguarding/no platform policies. The SLT of that school were really throwing balls to the wind Edit: my comment was meant to follow on from @CTXRussomark

A learner panel is where you are interviewed by students. When I interviewed for my last job in a school (2017) it was fairly similar minus the assembly to Year 10. Expecting an interviewee to do that is absolutely wild.

I have heard similar things with him not coping brilliantly with hecklers at times - other times he seems to cope very well. I imagine with his neurodivergence, the pressure of something like Traitors could be difficult for him.
-
It's a hell of a cast so that doesn't surprise me (assuming they aren't all just Acaster fans like me). I'd go as far as saying I had a negative interest in The Traitors up until this point and actively tried to avoid anything to do with it so if I'm watching it, they've achieved something.
-
I've never watched Traitors before but I know the premise. James Acaster being in it was my main reason for tuning in

Six million children and counting supported by Childline. The legacy she has left is huge and Childine is absolutely an amazing resource for all children, even today the amount of contacts with children have never really wained just how they contact has changed. Silverline and the campaigns for assisted dying are another part of her legacy. RIP

Lots of naysayers @Onyx2 but I thought it looked great!

I was at a concert there a couple of weeks ago, I was in the stands and the sound was fine. I've seen the same artist in arena's many times and the sound wasn't as good as it was in arenas. That said, the online consensus afterwards was that the sound in the stands was fine but the sound for those standing was awful - the standing tickets were between £200 and £1k so those fans were understandably very unhappy. So disappointed that Slipknot have chosen Marilyn Manson to support.

Divine intervention/karma/whatever you believe in giving him his just desserts.

That's beyond shit. If I were you, that would be my push to look for a new job as I couldn't cope with that type of insecurity.

@BigJag I'm not big in to Bollywood but always assumed Ranveer was a handsome nepobaby as he is a little out there and plays himself in most films. Suprised to find he isn't a nepobaby. He can settle for being Mr Deepika Padukone instead

Please do keep us updated, I feel quite invested in this now.

I would kind of want this to go to court so it can be thrown out and you can provide your counter argument to his actual face. He will have a hissy fit when he doesn't win and I would want to actually see it.

One of my ex-students is a contestant on the latest series of Great British Bake Off which is on tonight. Second of my ex-students on TV but the first one I've actually watched, I'm feeling very proud of him

Given the very specific circumstances, I absolutely understand where your mum is coming from and in her situation, I think I would have done worse.
