I definitely remember him starting as "the finish guy" in the Pat Patterson role. Imagine if he went full All Japan booking though, that'd have been hilarious.

Oh same, but I think that very late era after Russo doesn't actually have anything truly unbearable to watch on the Nitros. There's still some fingerprints on there but it's so so much toned down. It's silly bad not offensively horrible bad.

I've had a few post-Russo late 2000 shows pop up on YouTube and I'll be honest, I've really quite enjoyed having them on in the background. I think being away in Australia and The UK helped too, not quite as many dead crowds. Now is it great TV? Not even close but it's also pretty easy to watch, Mike Sanders and The Natural Born Thrillers all had so much potential at this point and the work with and against Kevin Nash was blatantly the blueprint for Paparazzi Productions. The return of Luger with his aunties hair, Goldberg attempting yet another streak, Boogie Knights on every show, Hugh G Rection getting the "you deserve it" title run only for Bill Goldberg to take the piss outta him. Some right shite that goes down easy, I just wish the PPVs were on YouTube too.

Fishman has been arrested too, I'll wait for more official confirmation but it's being said that the move was unplanned. It's just horrible that he was left laying there, no medical on site or anything, I hope they never get to run a show again.

I'd be surprised if WWE/TKO doesn't already have a working relationship or something close to it with the DSoTR lot to have some sort of influence, mainly via The Rock and his production company who's worked directly with them. I've seen Tony Khan outright say no to guys who've said less horrible things so I doubt it, unless he's a real sicko and wanted to see Joe kill him off for good.

At this point there's barely any sympathy for MAGA Butcher if he's being scammed, he's one of my favourite wrestlers ever but he went right down a full on Nazi route after his cancer scare. I love the style as I'm hugely into the TV show, easily the best videogame adaptation Netflix ever ordered *but* did it have to be a bloody Soulslike with all the modern Western made Metroidvania tropes? It's solid but doesn't feel like Castlevania in the hands, but I also guess all the old Konami devs are gone at this point too. I'm pretty sure I'll still enjoy it, just been craving some GBA/DS style gameplay recently.

Donald Trump just "officially" changed the name AI to SI - Super Intelligence. All the cretins leading companies like Nvidia are falling over themselves trying to say SI and messing up.

I do wonder if these companies are getting *any* returns yet on the billions of dollars of investments they've put in, I'm guessing not hence why they're not going to stop pushing it regardless.

Watched it for the first time a few years back and kicked myself for not seeing it sooner, it didn't fit the mold of the J-Horror I was into back in the day and would have likely gone over my head (still did to a point) but yeah, masterpiece. Didn't even realize it was Goldhaber, doubly disappointing now and might even take another half a star from my Letterboxd review.

If Will wasn't likely to be on a generational title run I could see them finally pulling the trigger and having a Darby-esque short but killer championship run with OC. It's maybe long overdue.

I think too many new signings has passed Bowens by to the point there was little to do with him but Max? His silly little best wrestler alive gimmick run was so bloody good, no way he couldn't have moved on to something just as over, a strange release in my eyes.

The new season of Blue Lights has really stepped up, without going in to spoilers it's connecting years long stories and going far deeper in to conspiratorial corners than usual. The pace is definitely much slower as it goes on though, it's a shift but a great one.

I saw a backyard wrestling page on Instagram post this video that PAC made many years ago when he was saying goodbye to the scene, it left me a little choked up as it came to a close.
