Mr. Seven
Boosting this back up to share with you all the wonders of 12 Stone Toddler. I was introduced to them late last year and have just picked up the album, which is rather cool. They mix a rock/metally sound with blues, funk and swing and the result is pretty fantastic. The vocalist at times sounds very Mike Patton, particularly in the 3rd song here, and they carry the stong bassline of FNM in several songs also. Here be a wee selection for you to enjoy:12 Stone Toddler - Twang12 Stone Toddler - The Rabbit12 Stone Toddler - Precious CargoThere's a good chance i've monged up at least one of the links as I usually seem to do so let me know if something doesn't work.Any chance of a re-up of those songs, my good man? I've just heard The Rabbit and a few more of their songs and they are stupidly awesome. 12 Stone Toddler - Come Back12 Stone Toddler - Twang12 Stone Toddler - Fingers In The Till12 Stone Toddler - TragicomedyYou know I spoil you.Any chance of uploading The Rabbit again? Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted September 24, 2008 Awards Moderator Share Posted September 24, 2008 KoRn's cover for the Nightmare Before Xmas revisited soundtrack out next week:KoRn- Kidnap the Sandy ClawsThis inspired me to go and look at the tracklist for said album - Marilyn Manson doing 'This Is Halloween' is a good shout but a hearty "could have found someone better" for most of the other tracks...Might still make a good Christmas present for the sister though. Froggivizal_Version1.0
Iglu and Hartly - In This CityI think this song got released about two months late. A cracking wee summery pop song.I thought that song was released two months ago......... I definately remember listening to it at the back end of June (might have been July, I can't remember). Is a good song though - yet I really feel I should hate it, but I just...... can't. Same with DayGlo as well.

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted October 9, 2008 Moderators Share Posted October 9, 2008 Large Pro - Maica Livin  This is a track from Large Professor's new solo album which I got last week and have been bumping constantly since.  He's best know for his work in the group Main Source on the album Breaking Atoms, which is a proper hip hop classic, but he's produced a bunch of stuff for various peeps over the years as well as his own solo material. Ulf ist Gut
This is the song off the UKTV Watch ads with Richard and Judy on and is by a band called A Silent Film. For those who haven't heard it, it's worth a listen if only for the awesome piano part.
