Guest ScottishRaven Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Miss you dude.you had some of the best hard hitting matches I remember in ECW.*salutes*shitty way to go
Kailen Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Damn.Awesome was my favourite guy back when I first discovered ECW, and his matches with Tanaka are ones that I could watch forever. I'd always hoped for a comeback, especially after ONS. RIP
TsuMirren Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Thing about this is we're losing wrestlers who weren't flippity floppers. Can you imagine how dependant on painkillers some of the newer breed will become, it's fucking frightening.
shinyahashimoto Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 R.I.P MikeWas just watching one of your insane FMW matches last night.
Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted February 19, 2007 Paid Members Posted February 19, 2007 Friends were coming to his home in Tampa to pick him up and go out Saturday night at about 10:30 p.m. and he never answered the door and found him hanging in the home. It is believed the death was due to suicide pending results of the autopsy.Poor bloke hung himself. :( :( :( :( x 100000000000

King_Slim Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I was always hoping 1 promotion in UK would bring him in 4 some shows, now thats over R.I.P Big man might play season on virtua pro wrestling 2 as a tribute.
Paid Members CoreyVandal Posted February 19, 2007 Paid Members Posted February 19, 2007 (edited) Wow! Damn, this was one I realy didnt expect.I was a big fan of Awesome, his matches were just so enjoyable to watch, I dont think I was ever bored by him, even in the FMW slow arena-wide brawls.I listen to his shoot interview last week, it was very good, Im pretty sure you can find it at TheGZoneV2.Its a shame he never realy got the chance to shine in the US the same way he did in Japan, you can say that about a lot of guys, but for someone like Awesome with his size, look, skills, uniquness & family connections it realy is a crying shame he never got taken seriously in his home country.R.I.P. ya big powerbombing bastard.
