FireBrand Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 R.I.P Awsome you were one the good big guys
Mr.ECW Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Really upset by this, this guy is amongst my Top 10 favs in like a decade and a half of watching wrestling. RIP Mike.
MFrV1 Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Like the rest of you guys, I didn't expect Awesome to go so soon.Such a horrible way to go.R.I.P. Mike, you were one of the best 300-pounders around.
TheBigBoot Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 R.I.P. Mike  After ONS, I thought he could have added to the new ECW... it's a shame we'll never know. I'll always remember the brutal insanity of the matches with Tanaka.  He was someone I was sure was going to become a mainstream star this time 7 years ago when he joined WCW.
AJSTYLES Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 I have n't felt this upset in ages. RIP you were one of my favourite ECW stars
Mattyc Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Very sad news, we are still only in the 2nd month of the year and already we have lost Bam Bam Bigelow and now Mike Awesome. I will remember him mostly for his work in FMW as the Gladiator and the matches he had with Masato Tanaka in that company as well as in ECW, Another match that sticks out in my mind is his match from ECW Guilty as Charged 2000 with Spike Dudley. Like others have said it is good that the last memory most people will have of him is from the great match he and Masato Tanaka had at ECW One Night Stand in 2005.Rest in Peace
lokmad Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Fuck sake, the wrestling industry just gets shittier and shittier. His matches with Tanaka in ECW will always be remembered R.I..P Mike Awesome.
