I'll always remember the brutal insanity of the matches with Tanaka.  He was someone I was sure was going to become a mainstream star this time 7 years ago when he joined WCW. Mattyc Posted February 19, 2007 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Very sad news, we are still only in the 2nd month of the year and already we have lost Bam Bam Bigelow and now Mike Awesome. I will remember him mostly for his work in FMW as the Gladiator and the matches he had with Masato Tanaka in that company as well as in ECW, Another match that sticks out in my mind is his match from ECW Guilty as Charged 2000 with Spike Dudley.
