When i worked the clubs and pubs in norwich, i knew all the girls by name, they are not ashamed of what they do its a living to them so they dont usually hide their names. The image being portrayed of vulnerable drug addicts helplessly being exploited by evil, dirty old men isn't accurate for all but the lowest rung of sex workers. I'm concerned the murders are going to result in a mess of hurriedly-made, bad new laws making things worse. Already the debate over clamping down on punters has started on the news channels - good timing, it's really encouraging the kerb crawlers to go to the police with information, isn't it...?It's been mentioned that it could be someone known to the girls. That raises the possibility that it's not a sexual predator but someone like a pimp or drug dealer taking care of some business, or even a religious-type community worker punishing sinners. Alternativly she might be here illegal and be under the " protection " of Russian criminal elements in this country and using her earnings to feed a drug habit.
