HeavyT
I lurk on Eastside and it seems ok. Mainly for the piss taking out of Wank Frarren. Im a regular on there, have been for years now I think, good bunch of lads in the british forum if you hang about long enough to know which threads to ignore! A lot of boxers/trainers etc post. to so you get good insight. Warren gets a lot of stick on there, his name comes up as simply *****s and a lot of topics (some very trivial in relation to him) have been taken down. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted February 12, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted February 12, 2012 Saul Alvarez vs Shane Mosley will be on the undercard of Mayweather vs Cotto. Â I like this. Nice to see them putting 2 big fights like this on the one PPV. I can see this being it for Mosley, unless he can pull out another vintage performance like he did vs Margarito, which I don't think he has left in him at this stage, then I see Canelo winning this one. Stylin_and_Profilin
Last night must have been the first ever PrizeFighter where the favourite won? Like the tournament at the start for novelty value with the heavyweights, it was a bit of a freakshow, but quickly losing it's appeal now.
Craig The Hunter
The second that Tyson Fury gets in the ring with a real fighter he is going to get absolutely mauled. It's like Naseem Hamed all over again.

Like the tournament at the start for novelty value with the heavyweights, it was a bit of a freakshow, but quickly losing it's appeal now. Its a fast paced show with a fixed cost that attracts the casual viewer. I have a feeling if viewership dwindles they wont get rid of them, but limit them to a couple a year. At the moment, it feels like once a month we see them, Ive even heard from people tht torunaments like them almost killed the pro game in some areas of the UK back in the 70s(I think?) Â The second that Tyson Fury gets in the ring with a real fighter he is going to get absolutely mauled. It's like Naseem Hamed all over again. Â Ridiculous. Do you even watch boxing? Naz dominated his weight class for years, until he came up against future hall of famer and all round P4P legend Barrera. Thats like saying "This is Ricky Hatton all over again!" Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted February 17, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) Yeah you can't compare Naz to Tyson fucking Fury. Naz was one of the most talented fighters the UK's ever had. A cocky fucker yeah but he could back it up 9 times out of 10. Fury's fights are car crash viewing, he's usually fun to watch but if he was half as good as he seems to think he is he wouldn't be getting dropped/hurt by nearly every sod they throw at him.  Naz was damn near untouchable until what the Kevin Kelley fight where he was floored early on? And obviously the loss to Barrera which there's no shame in.  Anyway, few bits and pieces I haven't seen posted yet  -Lamont Peterson vs Amir Khan rematch is set for May 19th in Vegas source - http://af.reuters.com/article/sportsNews/i...E81901E20120210  -Brandon Rios vs Yuriorkis Gamboa is confirmed for April 14th in Vegas source - http://www.badlefthook.com/2012/2/16/28039...al-for-april-14  -Mayweather vs Cotto will be shown live on BoxNation http://www.boxingfutures.com/news/0214-may...cotto-boxnation  -Carl Froch is saying he's fighting Lucian Bute in the UK in May source -   And in case anyone's forgot Vitali Klitschko vs Dereck Chisora is this Saturday on BoxNation, some pre-fight stuff here  Vitali/Chisora Ringside Preview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zpunGzalrgw  Full press conference  Head To Head (BoxNation's rip off of HBO's Face Off) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag4Vk4hyXvw...feature=related  After a fairly quiet start to the year, business is picking up for BoxNation now. And obviously getting Mayweather vs Cotto on there is big for them as it's probably the biggest fight of the year.  Really looking forward to Khan vs Peterson 2, should hopefully clear up the controversy. And Rios/Gamboa could be a belter, can't wait for that one. Edited February 17, 2012 by wandshogun09
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted February 17, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted February 17, 2012 anyone fancy Chisora's chances? he's promising that he's gonna come forward and really try and rough Vitali up, if he just attempts that i think he can leave with his head held high. There's only so many more 1 sides Klitchsko one siders i can take.
Mr Lawrence
Chisora is quite durable, but for how long is anyones guess. I do think he will go in there and have a good go for a couple of rounds, but like most opponents of the Klitchkos, once they get hit a few times from their savage jabs they seem to go in to survival mode.
