All joking aside, while I can't say I'm amazed that the usual grifter types have made very little of WWE's apparent decision to fly their wrestlers into a literal warzone defying all travel advisories, it's a bit disappointing to see how muted the reaction has been. Eric Bischoff was 'outraged' by the death of PAC, calling for it to be investigated before the cause was even known. Jimmy Korderas was apoplectic about Steven Borden attempting the spot that led to him getting knocked out. If this were to go wrong, it could lead to the biggest tragedy in the history of wrestling. It doesn't even have to go wrong for the wrestlers, a mass civilian gathering which has international eyes on it is inevitably going to be a target. Even if things go swimmingly, WWE deserves the heaviest of scrutiny for this. I wish people could ditch the tribalism to criticise people high up who are happy to risk lives - likely not their own - because they're just that fucking greedy. Quote

Whats it supposed to say? I assumed "I ❤️ Dubai" but the letter after B really doesn't look like it could be an A. Quote

Paid Members RedTwoster Posted October 22 Paid Members Posted October 22 The US has told non-emergency diplomats and their families to leave Saudi Arabia. (link to the BBC) I hope that someone with a bit of stroke actually has the guts to publicly criticise whoever the fuck is pushing for this event to go ahead. There will be plenty of people who can't afford to do that and it's at times like that when those with actual stroke should use their clout to push for what's right. Quote
The Gaffer Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Entertaining is an emergency diplomat role, pal! Quote
RIDDUM_N_STYLE Posted October 22 Posted October 22 It’s asinine decision making from TKO to still go ahead with both this and the UFC event. How are they letting the Kingdom, specifically Türki Al-Sheikh, dictate that it’s a being a bad friend not going? I mean it was dumb back in the day to do the Troops shows in Iraq and that but they were at least semi protected being on military bases, they won’t have any of that in Riyadh Honestly if the main event talent don’t have the balls to speak up then they’ve all collectively lost respect Quote
