Keep in mind it's a family oriented show, kid friendly etc. But the set up, the atmosphere and the quality of the wrestling was top notch. Add in some Papa Shango voodoo to boot. Fiver in too. I've watched a fair few Eagles basketball games in there, obviously without the floor seating. I think it's the busiest it's ever been. Over 1800 tix sold by the morning of. Quote

I let my son watch (I've wanted some form of wrestling to show him but AEW is too violent for him and WWE is WWE), who's never seen wrestling before, and he loved it. Got very angry at bad guys cheating, cheered pinfalls etc. So it got my son emotionally invested in it so I'm giving it a thumbs up based on that. I wasn't sure if he'd get into Tim Strange and his sort of fat bar room brawler look, very NWA, but actually he loved it and bought into him being a big tough bloke. He was cheering on London and Glasgow, who weren't the faces but kind of how it goes. If they do a London show I'll try and talk the misses into letting me take him. If you get 6 *15 minute matches then I know what I'm getting and 90 minutes is plenty of wrestling. My own views are that I thought the Production values were pretty good. The crowd was big, obviously they've used cheap tickets to get over 2000 people in but I think that's a good route for the first few shows. Get them in and sell them on the product and it also makes it look good. 2000 people just helped make it look professional. They had the time and score screens in the arena and on the screen at all times. I liked they kept the fall times almost like who scored in a football match. I liked the ring mat, football look. I do think the ring was a bit small and that's probably my main gripe with the production. I think it's mainly an issue when you try and do submission break spots. I thought the wrestling was pretty decent too. I'd say it was mostly simple stuff, but it flowed well and had me wanting to watch. I felt the rules were pretty easy to get into aswell and overall made sense. I think they also made the HT make sense and the yellow card system. So yeah I'd definitely like to see more and really hope they carry on getting good attendances and sell their football shirts. Quote
