davertfnewman Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Yeah, just tried to think of the deepest cut movie I could and it popped into my head. Was pretty good, I'd seen Idaho at some point and didn't think much to it. Quote

Idaho is brilliant because of River Phoenix but overall I just think Living End story wise and stylistically was a front runner in 90s queer cinema and just better overall. Follow That Bird! Absolutely cracking movie only bested by the greatest kids movie ever made, Elmo goes to Grouchland. Trust me, well worth watching both. Quote

Have you seen the Mylo The Cat video where he's edited Follow That Bird and made a music video for Sabotage by the Beastie Boys? Quote

Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted April 2 Paid Members Posted April 2 Yeah sorry been manic at work and thought I'd have more time before someone twigged a Sesame Street movie (though I think it was my topic in Brain of the UKFF). Cracking movie and the documentary film on Caroll Spinney is well worth a watch too. Quote

I’m on and off here sporadically at the moment due to real life things, so as it wasn’t a guess, I thought I’d keep it moving my end. Not seen the doc on Carroll Spinney as I watched it on one of those old fangled VHS thingys. Quote
Paid Members I Bent My Wookie Posted April 2 Paid Members Posted April 2 The doc is on Amazon, must be about ten years old at least now, but was a real cool insight into the man behind the bird Quote
