DavidB6937 Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Tempted by one of the London tapings but might hold out for a PLE. Not sure.. unless I win the lottery. Quote
RedTwoster Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Raw in Glasgow could be fun, but as with any of these things it’s all about pricing. With it being the road to Wrestlemania, I would expect the idea behind this is that this is justification to charge through the nose for each event. PPV ticket-level prices for television, although I hope I’m wrong with that assumption. Quote
DebbieHardy_v2 Posted November 4, 2024 Author Posted November 4, 2024 Yeah hoping to get tickets to RAW in Glasgow too (depending on prices available). Clicked on the link on Hydro's Facebook page and it says tickets are priced £69.80 to £569.20 ? so we will see which ones actually appear when it comes to sale time! Perhaps wishful thinking but maybe there could be a John Cena appearance on one or more of these dates depending on his schedule before Wrestlemania ? Quote
WyattSheepMask Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 Price pending (I’m not breaking triple figures for a Sunday House Show) I reckon I could convince my mate to go to the Nottingham show. Not a huge arena so you’ll have a decent view even if you’re at the very back. As for @DebbieHardy_v2 wishful thinking for a Cena appearance? If Mania is his last hoorah then I wouldn’t rule it out for one of the TV tapings. House shows less likely, but then again “anything can happen in the WWF” Quote

House shows less likely, but then again “anything can happen in the WWF” Cena is retiring in December rather than Mania. I think there's a good chance he could appear at the TV tapings as he will no doubt be in a big match at Mania, very unlikely for the live events though I would imagine. Quote
Ted Posted November 4, 2024 Posted November 4, 2024 In the press conference he did about it, he said he was aiming to do 200+ shows including internationals so there’s a chance he might do some house shows over here if he’s on the tour anyway Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted November 4, 2024 Members Posted November 4, 2024 If Cena is retiring I can absolutely see him hitting up some countries before he packs it in. I'd say him appearing in the UK has an incredibly high percentage chance. Quote
Healy52003 Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 (edited) Wasn't he filming in London at the time of MITB thus the 'London deserves Mania' segment happening Crazy that to see both SD and Raw in London it more than likely means a weekend stay (which is not cheap) Good to see more countries getting Tapings. Probably the first Raw in continental Europe since Italy all those years ago ? Edited November 8, 2024 by Healy52003 Quote
DavidB6937 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Any details on pre sales yet? Fairly sure I saw it pop up on Smackdown that they were on sale this coming week but can't see anything. Quote
s279 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 The Nottingham house show is presale 12th Dec and general on 13th so I'd guess the others will be similar. Quote
DavidB6937 Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 O2 Priority has Raw/Smackdown combo tickets on pre sale Weds 9am. Other tickets seem to be Thursday. Quote
CDM Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 As someone who likes wrestling a lot more than storytelling would I be better of going to a house show? Quote

Obviously the challenge with house shows vs Raw/Smackdown is you're potentially more likely to see decent matches on the TV shows. BUT obviously you're also going to get a lot of talking and stuff like that. So depends really. Quantity of wrestling? House show absolutely. Quote
