My favourite moment was this:-

Nunez gently pushing Salah away from trouble and Salah turning round pissed off until he realised it wasn't Veiga who pushed him.

I don't think any Liverpool fans care, to be honest.

Not so sure about that. Literally just in the thread.

What’s up with Arsenal’s terrible discipline this season? I know they were all celebrating the heroic point they got against City but the real statement would have been winning there not clinging on. Has there been a rule change that’s gone against their physical style or something? Just a fancy Fat Sam with Lego hair is Arteta.

The disrespect everywhere for Liverpool is wild.

I think Liverpool look pretty decent. But presumably they're not being discussed heavily yet because they have a new manager and it's only October. City and Arsenal have had 2 seasons of some sort of "title race", such as it is, so theres a lazy conversation for "journalists".

If Liverpool are still there in January (pending injuries etc I imagine they will) it'll be very much the discussion and rightfully so.

No.

City presumably?

I don't see how anybody could think otherwise. That's not to say Arsenal aren't very good but come on.

Oh I'm 100% not disputing that at all! You'd have to be delusional not to look at City's first XI and think it's the best in the league by a way. I do think we run them close in a couple of positions (I think Saka walks into that team, and maybe a couple of others) but City are definitely a stronger team man for man.

I was mostly addressing our 'new' friend up there, confidently marching into this thread and making such a bold and debunkable statement.

Not sure what the quoted post has to do with Liverpool fans not caring if we are considered title contenders.

Probably the bit in bold.

What’s happened there this season @Frankie Crisp? Glasner looked like he was doing a decent job when he came in last season

Too much change and not enough stability.

Obviously losing Olise, Andersen and mighty Jordan Ayew was something we could have done without, but the players we’ve brought in haven’t clicked, the existing players can’t stay fit at the same time and it just seems like a mish-mash of ‘we’ll try our best’ with players not in their natural position.

Eze hasn’t got going, Wharton is one challenge away from being on the shelf for a long stint, Mateta’s drug dealer must have gone into hiding and Will Hughes just isn’t good enough.

I’m not panicking just yet, but assuming we get nothing from Spurs at the weekend then we really have to get a win at Wolves the week after. I’ll be at both games so can guarantee we’ll get sod all.

I’m inclined to blame Joel Ward.
