Stormcast have always been positioned as the poster faction for Sigmar, they’ve been very blatant about that. plenty of disgruntled ex fantasy players out there, that’s why old world now exists - and the player response for that has taken it from a small side game to a more featured part of their calendar. Oh, I'm not saying I agree with my friend. Oddly, the most Warhammer I've ever played has been all the stuff surrounding the actual games - the TTRPGs, Necromunda, the boardgames, Warhammer Card Quest, Silver Tower, etc. - so I've no particular skin in the game, almost literally. But what I've seen of the lore of AOS, I think the friend in question is just being one of those stubborn fans who can't move with the times - in itself, nothing wrong with it, but his level of hatred for it is ridiculous. Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted Sunday at 03:20 PM Moderators Posted Sunday at 03:20 PM Has anyone watched Miniature Masters? Painting competition by the Squidmar guys. All episodes are on YouTube. I've not finished yet, but watched the first 4 episodes. It's really cool. Inspired me to get painting again. I painted one of my trench crusade warband. He looks a bit Christmassy, which is probably when it'll be by the time I get around to painting them all. Quote

Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted Monday at 12:07 PM Moderators Posted Monday at 12:07 PM I don't get a chance to play that often so I have only played one off games. So I can't speak to how it runs as a campaign, but I have really enjoyed all the scenarios I've played so far. Mechanics feel well balanced and not overly complex, not too luck dependent. Good incentive to play the objective and pace of game. Quote
