£375k for the weight miss & £100k for the egg smash the other week. Hopefully he's not going to be too weight drained for the fight. Will be surprised if he stays within the hydration limit.

That weight he's boiled off, will go straight back on. Just hope if he does beat Benn it's not going to be used as a excuse that he was overweight.

Oh he has.

Actually feel really bad for Eubank. Haven’t watched much buildup stuff for this, gonna try and catch up on some of it today, but caught Eubank Sr on Talksport yesterday and the whole rift between Sr and Jr seems to be because of Sr’s ego. The way he was talking, it was all about him and him getting the hump because Jr wanted to be his own boss. Granted, I’m sure there’s truth to Jr not being easy to manage and fighters wanting to be 100% in charge of their own training camps rarely works out for the best. But let him make his own mistakes. To cut your own son off for that is too much. Maybe there’s more to it but it’s all Sr was banging on about and I’m sure if Jr had done something worse he’d have told the world by now. So the unforgivable crime he’s committed is wanting to be his own boss. Which is funny because that’s exactly what Sr was in his own career. Bit hypocritical.

Yeah, seen that. It was a pretty sad interview, Sr. contradicted himself many times throughout it. I actually agree with Eddie Hearn when he said that Sr. should be nowhere near the media at the moment...didn't stop Eddie threatening to sue him though ?

crazy old game.

Anyway, the PPV has been purchased and i'm good to go.

Conor Benn doesn't get punished financially for PEDs but Jnr does for a tiny discrepancy in weight, and an egg incident that no doubt helped everyone involved make more money by selling the bout to casuals. I know this one is mainly aimed at casuals anyway, but still, this helped it even more for sure.

I get it though, over is over, but if I'm team Eubank I want the calibration of them scales checked.

I except some shenanigans tommorow night aswell regarding what gloves are gonna be used.

Eubank looks rough as expected. Call it ready made excuses if you want but if Benn wins tomorrow it’s a hollow victory for me.

I 100% agree, I rarely make excuses for fighters, but I said to my pal earlier if Benn wins this it's not because he's suddenly morphed into some fighting machine, it's because Eubank isn't the same anymore.

Genuinely feel he'll get Benn though.

This was a class act, best thing I have seen in the whole build up.

Hope so and usually I’d feel the same but between him being 35 now, getting stopped a couple of fights ago, now this weight thing, I’m not sure. I saw some speculation that him missing weight might’ve all been part of some tactics from Eubank and that he’d deliberately come in heavy to be much bigger tomorrow. Not having that. You can see in that pic that he’s clearly tried to make weight and it’s taken something out of him. You don’t look like that if it was all part of some master plan. And worse than that, now he can’t even rehydrate properly because he can’t be over 170 tomorrow.

Yes I do agree with you that this isn't part of a master plan, Haye done it didn't he in the past but this is a totally different vibe.

The rehydration clause is a nightmare for him, Hearn smirking at Jnr in the face off is an aggravating watch, they know full fine well they've done all they can to tip this in Conors favour.

Genuinely would hate to see Benn win this.

Finally made it to fight day! brilliant build up to be fair, lots of twists and turns. I know this fight has it's detractors and many don't think it should even be happening, but fuck that, as a fight fan this is what it's all about. Pure pro-wrestling, but better and with a proper payoff.

Team Eubank. The guy's been through hell to get here.

I must admit I am feeling the buzz today and genuinely backing Eubank and will be a bit gutted for him if he loses tonight

Benn one way or another though operates in divisions with men he's not fit to share a ring with

If Jnr puts Conor down and gets him beat handily I'll be leaping round the gaff like a lunatic! Genuinely cannot stand Benn

Friend of mine has got tickets, it's a decent card to be fair.

Eubank Jr is 0.6lb inside the rehydration limit this morning so no more fines to pay and fight is on!

Eubank Jr as has been mentioned looked horrible at the weigh in/face to face off yesterday evening. I thought he done well to just keep his footing and not fall over during the stare down.

Now he has made it inside the rehydration limit and can now re fuel his body properly I expect him to be fine come first bell time. It's not ideal situation to be in, especially at his age but he knew for this he was going to have to suffer, feel pain and for me this is his biggest fight, not the fight itself as he a lot better then Benn.

Match room and the media have done a really good job with the narratives they have been putting out there to everyone about Conor Benn, he's ferocious, furious, frantic, machine, destroyer in the ring, if he catches anyone on the chin they go, battering his sparring partners, some currently world champions etc. All sounds good in theory but I've seen him fight in the ring before and it doesn't wash with me. His last two fights up at 154lbs against relative unknowns he has gone the distance in both and no pun intended, he hasn't looked like he could crack a egg, he couldn't dent either but he goes up to 160lbs and suddenly the power is there again? Maybe, depending on what he has been taking I guess it could be or they may be just basing it on believing they are going to get the corpse of Eubank Jr in the ring tonight.

I got Eubank Jr winning by stoppage between 8-10 rounds. I expect Benn to start quick, use his speed, get in and out, win early round and then Eubank Jr puts hos foot on the gas, settles in to the fight, picks Benn apart and as it goes later, Benn slows down, tries to go out swinging and gets finished by a uppercut.

I hope I'm right as I can't even imagine a Benn win and all those muppet cheerleaders behind him cheering etc, it would be a absolute nightmare if after all of this the drug cheat and his team win this, be a dark day for boxing .

Oh yeah, I forgot to add  I got

Glanten

Clarke(I'm not picking Spurs fighter over Arsenal fighter)

McKenna

Yarde

To all win.

I stand with you Gooner really opinion wise. Hearn and Matchroom have done wonders promoting Benn, spinning a story that wouldn't be out of place in the WWE, but like you say, it's just doesn't wash.

Feel like it's going to be a good night of boxing, where's everyone watching it?

Yeah this’ll be me around 5 o’clock, but with a bunch of mental kids running wild around me, my wife and my sister gossiping about something or other and I’ll be left sat with my boring arse brother in law who doesn’t like combat sports and barely speaks when he’s over. Party.
