Paid Members Carbomb Posted August 1, 2018 Paid Members Share Posted August 1, 2018 To be fair, much as I'd like to see Grapple Arcade in London, it seems to me that it would be a better move to continue with the North East for a while. You've got a great rep so far, but you haven't run that many events, so it's wise to continue to patiently and steadily build a fan base in the North East. I'll be glad when you do head south-east with it though.

I'm also still out to avenge the loss I suffered during the Year 8 Smackdown 2 competition, where everyone abused the KO system by using Undertaker or Kane. I was the only fucker who didn't pick him, opting instead for Jeff Hardy. I lost in the first round but it was the most entertaining match by a country fucking mile. Near falls, dives, reversals, the lot. A 5 star affair. But at the end of the day it's only the wins that matter and my highly rated match was never going to win me the grand prize of a tenner and an easter egg. Can’t see one on the poster or Twitter link, but may have missed it as on phone. It’s going to be a Sunday afternoon from around 3.00pm, more than likely the 18th as it stands. This is to be confirmed this week. We’re going to announce that officially after we run the poll regarding what people would be interested in playing. We just want to get a bit of interaction going and spike a bit of general interest in the collaboration, leading up to the event announcement. All games mentioned are likely to feature. This is more of a pre-announcement to gain a bit of interest, then we’ll promote the event and final tournament games in a weeks time. Following the tournament, of it all goes well, we’re planning to stream it through several outlets, and incorporate a league. We then have the option of potential regional events... one step at a time though! We’re also confirming so pretty cool prizes too. I’ll post the official event poster in here next week.
