So, the final scores went into the opening post on Sunday night, and the table was figured out on Monday morning but only uploaded a few hours ago. In a chronically low-scoring week that makes my task quicker and easier, TildeGuy~! got his D2D right, as Chelsea held on for a win at a ground where both they and Liverpool saw a title challenge come unstuck last season. Although only 4 of the other 21 participants could bring themselves to bet against him, the 8 bonus points were still enough to make him top scorer for the round and the only player into double figures. That moves him up into second, cutting Ratty's advantage to 8 points. Best of the rest this time out were Nana and ultimo on 9 points each.

At the other end, the gap has doubled, meaning it also now stands at 8 points, prompting the Iron Sheik impression from Seph above. Nobody got more than 1 exact score, which may be a record, with the scorelines at Loftus Road and St Mary's, plus both the German outcomes, proving useless for three-pointers. Indeed, few could've foreseen yet another Dortmund reverse in Cologne, while the six-goal thriller in Stuttgart involved a stirring second-half comeback for the home side that caught lots of people out.

Australian results seem almost random, since it turns out that swapping the results would've yielded a lot more points for most. Back closer to home, triumphs for West Ham, Everton and Newcastle were fruitful, but not many saw the margins of victory coming.

Anyway, a new thread will be appearing very soon, so look out for that.
