I guess it's time for me to sack the apparently legendary 'mate down the pub', the minions, and the courier pigeon, as I've only just been made aware of the comments on here. It also took me forever to remember the password to the account. I genuinely don't come on here anymore, and haven't for a long time now, because it was just becoming really silly and unnecessary.

In honesty, life has moved on a lot from the days when I'd argue out any criticism of me, you can't make everyone happy in life; and you can't be everyone's friend. I never said my past behaviour was spot on, and that it was always that bright. But it's cool, and I'm quite content to clear a couple of bits up here, just for the sake of putting the record straight.

Mick is a good friend of a long time friend of mine, who he mentioned in one of his books. I met Mick in 2005. My friend caught up with him and did some work with him, and the video was recorded for me as a surprise. I honestly and truly fail to see the issue in that, or what kind of problems people find with Mick on any level, but that's something I'm content to leave alone; everyone's welcome to their opinions.

Am amused the football thing still comes up. But it's about time it got spoken about properly and honestly, instead of all the tiresome rumours. If people truly did their homework on that one incident at the club (one incident in thirty three years of going, I'd say that's fair enough really), they'd know I was employed at the club at the time. I had certain members of the staff, and at the time, playing staff too; go to bat for me on a personal level. One person had a six year banning order, everyone else had two year banning orders. Mine was a six month, taken down to four months due to the various LTFC employees who spoke up for me; and was started from the date of the game in question. It was also the very least of the I believe, thirty two people arrested that day. That alone says this was an incident that whilst an error of judgement on my part, shows I wasn't particularly involved or to blame for any major wrong doing; just I'd been stupid enough to be around the situation.

Since then, I've been involved in bits and pieces around the club, and I'd imagine my terms with them aren't too bad, considering at the end of the season just finished, I was allowed to propose to my now fiancee over the club's PA system at half time, during the last home game of the season.

Long story short, I've got older, I quit smoking and drinking, I lost around three or more stone, I'm less interested in confrontation, and more interested in life, my fiancee, my children, and the charity work I do. I'm very blessed to work with some great charities, and some great top level UK talent either on my own shows, and my bookings to perform on other promoters shows. Quite simply, things aren't how they used to be, and whilst not the finished product; I've changed, whether people choose or want to admit it, or not. There's also always been a big difference between public, and personal, with me; as I believe many people in the business will tell you. It frustrates me, as it would anyone else, but I see no need to lose sleep over it either; as negativity breeds negativity.

Anyway, I'd like to hope that clears things up. I'd like to think this post will be taken in the spirit it's intended, which is completely genuine, but it's cool either way. Thanks for your time.

Was a real genuine shout out to PTPlayers that wasn't it. Foley only had to look at his notes twice to see who he was "shouting out" to

So as soon as you found out, you started trying to remember your password to post another empty, self-aggrandising, "I've grown up this time, I swear" turd? Yeah, shows how much you don't care. And the post in this thread was just paraphrasing the same bullshit you posted the last time you were "made aware" of a thread discussing you. Of course, that time, you made the fatal error of saying "my mate down the pub told me about this at the weekend" when the thread had been posted earlier that same day.

If you're not bothered, just don't post. But these hollow little passive-aggressive posts about being above it all now aren't doing you any favours. Get some employees of the club to speak up for you on here.

Not asking for much is he. I'll be honest; I'd buy a Santa Foley figure. I'm starting to think he even SOUNDS like Father Christmas (or at least Tim Allen in the Santa Clause)

Fucking Hell. "I do these appearances for free, so any claims that I'm a money-grabbing bastard are now null and void. Hey Vince, I've just called Main Event shit and below my status, but if you make me an action figure and give me some prime TV time, I'll sign your deal".

Foley has forgiven:

A WRESTLEMANIA MOMENT

Thank you WWE and WWE Network - and to everyone who watched #TheMondayNightWar or #WWECountdown for making last night a #WrestlemaniaMoment for me. The memory of having my daughter rush home from a friend's house to be with The Old Bear when #HaveANiceDay made its debut, watching my younger kids break out in laughter at the long-forgotten #HowAboutYouCharlie spot, and having my oldest son return from work to howl with laughter at the William Regal part of Countdown are memories I will hold dear for years to come.

I really feel like last night's shows will prove to be the bridge that brings me home to WWE - a bridge that was built for only $9.99!

Thank you Mr McMahon - seen here reacting to my WWE Title win over Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

I remember me and Iandrewdiceclay went to see his standup (we enjoyed Ken Dodds standup more and left midway through Dodd)

He was canny with me cause I took Tietam Brown for him to sign but was proper arsey with Ian as he had a Hogan shirt in saying something like "I hope you wear a Mick Foley shirt when you go to meet Hogan" Petty we thought. Every appearance he makes now I get a horrible 'oh give it a rest Mick' feeling. His faux angry promos that he cut on CM Punk were cringe inducing. He's pervy with any young lass (and wears sweatpants you can see a hard-on through) and I remember Test had a go at him once backstage from creeping round Stacey Kiebler (good on Test, rest his soul) and I for one am embarrassed by him. Great thread!
