Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted September 19, 2014 Author Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 Where would you rank All The Right Moves? Also, I think a mention needs to be given to the American football game in MASH.
Lemon Juice
That should score points just for Lea Thompson's tits.
Paid Members John Matrix Posted September 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 Someone once said to me "If you ever get the chance to watch All The Right Moves, dont". Â We're forgetting Necessary Roughness, which is of course the best football movie ever made solely on the basis of my hard on for Scott Bakula - my jaw hit the floor when i heard him say fuck. Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted September 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 Any Given Sunday deserved a better reception than it got. Gets better with each watch. I'm gonna download The Program when I go home on your recom, Colonel! My top three football flicks would go as follows: Any Given Sunday Wildcats Semi Tough

Paid Members Scott Malbranque Posted September 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 I was never sure if Semi Tough qualified, but I really enjoyed it regardless. They were football players though. I also have a soft spot for the Longest Yard remake, mainly due to Big Kev's characters shenanigans while supplementing with estrogen. And it also has The Crystal Method's 'Roll It Up' playing during a slo-mo shot of Michael Irvin looking all sorts of majestic. Mr_Danger
Where's the love for Rudy? Triumph over adversity all wrapped up in Sean Astins chubby little face. The film of Friday Night Lights is a cracker. Does Debbie does Dallas count? Mr Greenfeld does dress up as an American footballer.
Paid Members John Matrix Posted September 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 I was going to mention Rudy, it's everything The Program isnt, but still a very good film.  There's another, i'm sure i've got buried in the garage somewhere from the 80's about a deaf player, or an aspiring deaf player, one of the two. Any search just throws up The Replacements, so if anyone can think of what that was, then let me know. Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted September 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 The best American Football film is the opening of The Last Boy-Scout.

Paid Members GlennCullen Posted September 19, 2014 Paid Members Share Posted September 19, 2014 Friday Night Lights (the film) then Any Given Sunday are the one-two punch of American Football films. Ace Ventura's 3rd. Â This. I need to watch these two again soon.

WyattSheepMask
Christ I haven't seen Varsity Blues since about 2001. Really enjoyed it at the time too,
Mr_Danger
Probably gets overlooked because of the Dawson but back in the early 00's I used to watch that on a bi weekly basis along with Mallrats and The Faculty.
