SteelEdge Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 That looks quality. Will try and catch a few of those shows for a trip down memory lane. Loved plenty of those shows back in the day. Don't remember The Big Bang though
Retro Red Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 Well, won't be leaving the house that weekend.
Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted December 16, 2012 Awards Moderator Posted December 16, 2012 Mab's going to need some screenwipes if he reads that.
Retro Red Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 No Trap Door? Â Maybe they only wanted one Cosgrove Hall show per day? Probably not, but if it was bumped in favour of Duckla and DM I'm ok with that. They could have left off my parents are aliens though, maybe in favour of Bad Influence or some more knightmare (n.Ricky).
ukfan11 Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I'm sure there was a show in the 90s on CITV that was set in a swamp or sewer and all characters (animals I think) were puppets, any idea what it was or if it was even real?

I remember it couldn't tell you the name, which is going to bug me now.  Edit : it was Round the Bend. God bless google.
deathrey Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 That would be 'Round the Bend' which sadly does not look to be on, I loved that show. Â I'll be tuning in, I really loved some of those shows
Paid Members PunkStep Posted December 16, 2012 Paid Members Posted December 16, 2012 Spatz! Woof! Mike & Angelo! I'm going to have to delete a shitload from the Sky planner for all this. On an unrelated note, the brilliant theme for Spatz was identical to music for one of the levels on Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion.

That sounds like 'The Adventures of Grady Greenspace' to me. Scariest TV programme I've ever seen. Don't think I've met anyone else who remembers it for ages, but it was absolutely fucking terrifying.
Paid Members Mike Castle Posted December 17, 2012 Paid Members Posted December 17, 2012 Definitely sticking the TV on all weekend, though will be missing the first hour on Sunday due to the whole radio show stuff, ah well, just the one Mike and Angelo episode for me it would seem.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted December 17, 2012 Paid Members Posted December 17, 2012 A bit of trivia I only learned recently: Â Tyler Butterworth (from Mike & Angelo) is the son of Peter Butterworth, of many a Carry On.. film.

Yeah, I don't think it was Round the Bend, it could be The Adventures of Grady Greenspace, I can remember it being quite strange and dark as a child, just trying to thing the theme/intro to see if I can remember.
