Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 1, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted May 1, 2012 I remember thinking it was his "street fighting gear". Austin wore his jeans and t-shirt to wrestle in occassionally when doing street fights and I remember Cactus Jack wearing trainers and a checky shirt to have a match with Terry Funk. During that late 98/early 99 period, I dont think there was to many matches Rock had that werent gimmick matches. He had Last Man Standing matches, I Quit matches, Ladder matches, No DQ bouts the lot.
DCW
First one was the August 99 Raw magazine with Debra on the cover holding two puppy's over her baps, remember 12 year old me having to convince the shopkeeper that it was actually a wrestling mag and not a porno in order to get him to sell it to me.Always preferred Raw over the WWF magazine, mainly because of the better wanking material with Stacy,Steph,Terri and Lita all appearing in it in various bikini shoots before we got access to the internet, what innocent times! It went further mind, because we decided he wouldn't wipe his arse with teddy two stripes normally, but it was the same as how your Mam made you wear your "Pump Sport" trackies instead of your new Adidas ones if you were having a kickabout. Just like the rest of us, Rocky was saving his three stripes for best. Allsports don't do refunds for barbed wire rips or bloodstains.
Paid Members ShortOrderCook Posted May 1, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted May 1, 2012 Raw magazine really was tremendous. Fascinating reading for a young ShortOrderCook becoming really interested in the inner working of the world of WWF for the first time. Complimented the TV product perfectly. And what utterly fantastic wank fodder it was at 14 years young. Top drawer.
NEWM
Here's one. Did anybody have the issue of Wrestling Spotlight on Miss Elizabeth? I always imagined it would have some cracking late 80s/early 90s Raw-esque tit and bum shots. It would probably still do just fine if the WiFi went down too. Â Â Actually, no. It was sadly all 'classy' like all her other shoots. Dresses and big hair.
