MPDTT
Great tier list of affordable watch brands from Ben's Watch Club. I really like his channel.
wordsfromlee
Casio being in the garbage list shows that that video isn't worth watching.

They end up in the top tier......that screen capture is deliberately misleading. Orient and Casio come out on top.
wordsfromlee
That's alright then as the F-91W is the best watch ever made.

Orient Kamasu, without a doubt. Start with this review, but there are loads more on Youtube. Sapphire crystal, in house movement, £200 The black one is currently reduced on Amazon to £178. The red one is £190. BUT....if you can stretch, and want a Swiss watch, I'd definitely fork our a bit more and go for the Tissot Seastar. It's my favourite watch in my collection and is currently 30% off at Jomashop (grey market) - it's imported, but yours for £365 plus import duty. That watch retails in the UK for £645. https://www.jomashop.com/tissot-seastar-1000-watch-t1204071105100.html

When I think of a field watch, I think of the Hamilton Khaki Field watch. Swiss made, Jomashop have loads, like this: https://www.jomashop.com/hamilton-watch-h68201993.html. At the cheaper end, some of the Seiko 5's will do the job, if you don't mind that the movement isn't hackable - Amazon sell the SNK809K2 for £120. Paid Members BigJag Posted August 30, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted August 30, 2021 Is "Field watch" a vaguely militaristic term? What's a "hackable" movement?
