John Galt
he basically went on about him being an idiot again, and wanting to give him a 'glassectomy'. In one interview he also said something about wanting to put him in a violent choke or something.I guess it shows how far things in America have fallen when you can get put on leave from your job for calling the President an idiot. You just hate their freedom. I love Jacob Volkmann, the guy's such an anti-fighter, he doesn't look like a fighter, doesn't act like a fighter and he has a very boring style of fighting but i can't help but love the underdog. His mouth's gonna get him into shit though cause he says it as he see's it, but the guy's on a 5 fight streak at 155 though (all decisions), boring or not he has to get a big fight next.VOLKMANN FOR PRESIDENT.Volkmann's a nutter

Paid Members chokeout Posted January 7, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 7, 2012 Dan Hardy is currently having a go about religion to Matt Hughes. Americans will not like that. The guy is delusional. Religious extremism comes in many forms i guess... what's scary is that he genuinely believes that shit. #Misguided
the_mole
Dana on Jones' next opponent "[Jones] called about four days ago and said 'okay let's go, I'm done with vacation.' He said he wanted to take all this time off and then they were calling me four days ago saying he wants to fight as soon as possible. He's ready to go. What could end up happening is Dan Henderson fights Jon Jones first, and then [Jones' subsequent fight] would be close to the time that Rashad fights. Or we see how things go with Rashad [versus Phil Davis] and Rashad fights him first."Big Nog is saying in his Brazilian column that Antonio Big Foot Silva will debut in April against Cain Valasquez, if true I wonder who Mir gets next. Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted January 8, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 8, 2012 Don't say that. :(I'm hoping and praying Rashad wins and gets out the Davis fight unscathed and they can make the fight straight after. Outside of Rashad there's only Hendo and surely he won't be coming back just yet.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 8, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 8, 2012 apparently Hendo wanted back in there right away after the Shogun fight, mentalist. The UFC have to make Evans/Jones. It feels like they are avoiding it at this point.
Rey_Piste
I wouldn't be suprised that Jones' quick return was down to being badgered by Dana. WIth GSP and Silva both still out Dana needs fighting champions and Jones is the best fit for that. I'm sure there were some financial incentives thrown his way. It feels like they are avoiding it at this point.Yeah I read that about Hendo wanting to get right back in there aswell. Dana's words were "he's terrorizing me for another fight". Nutter. I hope he heals up properly before diving back in. He had a pretty active 2011, especially for a fighter north of 40 and the war with Shogun was the kinda fight you don't rush back from. It would be ashame if he lost all the momentum he's built because he came back too soon.Jones vs Evans is the fight they need to make imo. That one should have happened 2 or 3 times already. Hendo can fight the winner and we get 2 massive title fights. Win-win. He won't wanna sit out that long though.I wouldn't be suprised that Jones' quick return was down to being badgered by Dana. WIth GSP and Silva both still out Dana needs fighting champions and Jones is the best fit for that. I'm sure there were some financial incentives thrown his way.I kinda get that impression too. With GSP, Anderson out plus Lesnar retiring they need Jones in thereRashad seems to be the one that's ducking the fight though Hendo/Jones would be a big fight as well, that would come down to how healthy Hendo is.I wouldn't say Rashad is ducking to be fair. He injured his hand off Tito's massive noggin. Jones pulled out one of the times aswell, saying he needed surgery then saying he didn't and all that carry on. I don't think either guy is ducking but that fight may be the most cursed in UFC history.I'll predict right now that if Jones vs Hendo happens I don't think Hendo wins healthy or not. I'll be rooting for him cos he's one of my favourite fighters but I don't see him doing much better than Rampage in all honesty. He could always land a bomb but he's much more predictable than Machida and he's actually become a pretty one dimensional, albeit very exciting brawler. I see Jones picking him apart from a distance with kicks like he did to Rampage and maybe submitting him around the 3rd or 4th. If not a fairly one sided decision. Hope I'm wrong but I don't see Hendo getting close enough to land that H-Bomb.
