  1. The Opeth announcement got leaked a few days ago apparently, but there was no mention of it being a “fan picked” set. That gimmick always just ends up being a Greatest Hits set any way, but that will still be a great show.

I might head down for that day, but there’s not much else there that would make me fork out for the full weekend

  2. Change a tyre.

Not that I’ve ever had to do regularly I’ll admit, but I had a flat the tyre the other day after finishing work, and I didn’t have a clue on what I’d need to do so had to call the RAC out to change it to my spare tyre and now I’m off to get a proper new one

  3. The sooner MJF stops dicking about with the losers from ROH the better.

It feels more of a proper PPV than All Out did, that had proper B-Level stink on it going into it largely down to being a week after the Wembley show. It ended being an alright show in the end, but it certainly didn’t feel like the All Outs of previous years.

Kingston/Shitbata will be stiff as anything and I’m sure Christian will get a good match out of Darby.

FTR-Aussie Open will be the usual 15 minutes of regular tag team match followed by 10 minutes of Double Team Near Falls, and I’m probably the only person who isn’t even the slightest bit interested in Bryan/ZSJ.

I’ll watch the show of course, I always do and they might surprise me, but as the majority of shows these days, there’s definitely parts where I’ll be paying more attention than others

Not quite. The four man is a pre-cursor to WrestleDream between those four tag teams with the winner getting a title shot. Slightly lazy booking, but should be fun.

Ah my bad. Still reckon it to build to another match between the Bucks and FTR though. FTR v Lucha Bros would be my preferred option though in all honesty

Was up at half 6 listening to the new Cannibal Corpse. It sounds exactly like Cannibal Corpse, no major surprises but they always get the job done.

Yeah, wheel firmly remaining non-reinvented, but a solid effort as always.

Elsewhere, the new KEN Mode album ‘VOID’ is very good, and Thy Art Is Murder released their new album today along with the news that CJ McMahon has been kicked out of the band and his vocals completely removed from the new record and re-recorded by someone else.

That match happened on Rampage, a 4way: Kingdom v. Hardys v. The Righteous v. Best Friends.

Not that you’d know who’s who by the graphic

I think the majority of the refs in AEW are fine, fine in that I barely notice they are there except for when the match calls for it. Ian Knox does come off as pretty terrible at it however.

He must be bloody great because I don’t think anyone has ever noticed Ian Knox.

Although most of the refs are made to look like complete morons, the only ones that would say are outright awful are Aubrey and Bryce, who are a pair of attention seeking gobshites.

  8. And of course Jericho went over, god forbid Sammy gets that star making win.

Thats probably me nitpicking, but you could’ve had Sammy win and still do the post-match angle. How much of an insufferable prick would Sammy be going forward bragging about beating Jericho AND kicking him in the knob just for good measure. But no, “that doesn’t work for me brother”

  9. My heart nearly leapt out of my throat when Fenix picked Mox up by the head after the count. For fucks sake lads, don’t touch a guy who’s just been dropped on his head. Either count him out or do a ref stoppage, which is the same as a submission. Fuck whatever the finish was supposed to be, get out of there and go to break so tgat he can get some help.

You could see Mox moving his leg and they said he was able to walk out under his own power, so hopefully it isn’t anything too serious and he can be given some much needed time off, but everyone else needs a serious talking to

Saturday as a whole was incredibly difficult and tough on my mental state I was in the band room when the news articles dropped and came home and broke down completely to my fiancé and she had to give me my meds including a double dose of my anti psychotics which made me feel super tired and calm. I watched the first fourty seconds of the documentary and instantly shut it off and then slept for nearly a full day.

I have downloaded it on my seedbox and trying to slowly make my way through it, I'm currently half way through and I think I'm going to leave it there for today and come back to it tomorrow

I refuse to not watch it and bury my head in the sand because that's not right or the way I should ever deal with a situation like this expecially when I've been through sexual abuse, physical abuse and emotional abuse it just wouldn't be right at all.

I have sat and pretty much thought about nothing else tbh and I will always look back on that day a year and a half ago when I first got to talk to him and through that he offered his help and time and then the end of that day and evening his manager emailing and giving me his number making me break down in tears because of how much it meant to me, that will never not mean what it did to me. But I will never condone or make excuses and whatever for anyone that has done anything like this to even just one poor woman/lady/gentleman/boy because of what I've suffered through my life so if there is even one account that's come out which is correct and true then his career should be over and he should be cancelled and prosecuted.

Fucking what a grim, horrible world we fucking live in man .... just horrible and sad nothing else I can really say

I know that you’ve made reference to people making jokes about “Kfogg and my mate Russell” in recent days.

I don’t know what your relationship with him is,  what he did for you 18 months ago that you mentioned or whatever happened afterwards, but I honestly think that the quicker you divorce yourself from the idea that he was ever your friend or had your best interests at heart, the better you will feel.
What is coming to light through these allegations is that he was/is a charismatic manipulator whose only goal was to feed his own narcissism.
You weren’t the first to fall under his spell, and depending what happens over the next few weeks/months/however long, you won’t have been the last, but the sooner you distance yourself from all of the this the better

I feel like this sort of shite is fairly common nowadays across all wrestling and the Canadian Destroyer has been a transition move for a depressingly long time however if you want to give something like this logic you could always think of it as a) Statlander is so TOUGH that she can take all those moves and still kick out or b) Britt Baker is such a crap wrestler that she does all those killer moves so badly that they don't have the effect they would on an opponent if someone good did them.

I'm quick to mock stupid segments that undermine wrestling. Orange Cassidy, however much I like him, did one recently with dualling destroyers that looked absolute garbage. That said, in this instance, after the destroyer Statlander was obviously selling knocked out - the momentum sent her to her feet, sure, but she was out on her feet and Britt quickly grabbed her. There was no real air between the moves where you could argue they were no-selling, which seems to have become the dominant conversation.

In terms of kicking out, Statlander's gimmick is tough and she's bigger than Britt. I've got no beef with it really, considering the vast amount of finisher kickouts there are now across all the feds.

I get what you’re both saying, but to @d-d-d-dAz’s point about there being no air between the moves - all three of those moves have been [admittedly someone else’s] finisher at one time or another. Being portrayed as tougher than someone is one thing, but being hit with 3 separate finishers, all of which involve impact to the head, and all in quick succession is complete bullshit. It’s probably me being “old man shouts at cloud”.

  12. Next time you see someone trying to play the Super Cena card, remind them about the episode of Collision where Kris Statlander took a Canadian Destroyer followed immediately by an Angel’s Wings followed immediately by a Curb Stomp and still kicked out at 2.
    Fuck that shit.

On UFC Fight Pass last night, during his commentary gig, Punk said he’s got a lot of free time on his hands “for the next two months.”

Great, that’ll really help with all those that are utterly convinced that he’s turning up at Survivor Series and how fucked off they’ll be afterwards when he doesn’t.
As above, he knows full well what he’s doing
