Some rather sad news with details still coming to light, Owen Pegg from Hundred Year Old Man has passed away

Andrade dumping Chavo...reckon this is an opening to bring in Ric Flair? Not sure how I would feel about that generally but the chance to have Andrade & Flair feuding with Darby & Sting is just too good to pass up.
Do they have a Dynamite in Horseman country coming up? Orlando was always a Horseman town wasnât it? Theyâre there in mid-October.
Have Flair there just doing an in ring and ask Sting to the ring. Crowd goes wild, Andrade comes out, Flair turns on Sting one more time, Darby makes the save. Andrade v Darby at Full Gear with Flair and Sting in the corners -
They have done it once (maybe twice) before with episodes that are taped. Hopefully itâs something theyâll continue to do going forward and we just have to make do with episodes that are broadcast live.
It would be really annoying if you were to watch an episode from a year or so back and they still havenât cut out all of that stuff.
Andrade/PAC was great and it not being on the PPV was a blessing in disguise. Had it been on there youâd have had 2 matches with screwy finishes (3 if you count what happened in Jericho/MJF). Granted back in the Attitude era days is was the style at the time to have loads of matches end that way, but AEW have done a great job of keeping them to a minimum to emphasise that winning & losing matters

If so, and for those on here who know about this stuff, is it a case that suitable mid sized venues like that are few and far between or is there likely to be somewhere down the road and it's good publicity for him?
Corporation is about 5 minutes walk away from there. Judging by demand there and the 300 tickets that had already been sold which have now been refunded, probably just easier to put a few chairs out in there

Is there anywhere that holds all episodes of Dynamite? Such as Fite Plus? I wouldn't mind taking a watch through from the first episode.
FITE will have all episodes with an AEW+ subscription.
Failing that, if there was some kind of Wrestling Torrent site that was Xtreme in some way, it might be in the âPacksâ section

Is the dark haired one from 2.0 related to Bill DeMott in some way?

Everyone on my estate had at least one VHS of his in the living room too.
Makes me want there to be some kind of âHome Media Censusâ carried out. Bet thereâs be an unusual  amount of Chubby Brown VHSs and Beautiful South CDs clogging up peopleâs inventories

Does anyone know if the music guy made it out alive after cutting Suzukiâs music short?

Matrix kept the leather industry afloat at the turn of the century with the amount of trench coats the goth kids bought round our way.
I did see it at the cinema when it was released but Iâve never seen it since and couldnât tell you anything about other than the red pill/blue pill stuff and the rotating camera shot that was parodied to death, and that itâs standing was similar to that of Fight Club in that  if you didnât like it you obviously âdidnât get itâ

They were never really "dark heels" with Brodie though, they were vulnerable losers, manipulated by Brodie into doing his bidding. Whether or not something similar would work with Wyatt remains to be seen.Â
I was meaning that they were dark heels when they first came in, when theyâd have the minions make a human chair for Evil Uno and all that.
Punk having a mini feud with Team Taz is an interesting prospect. It saves him burning through matches with the tippy-top guys but also gets him some extra ring time and gives guys like Hobbs and Starks the rub from working with him.
We all know that Dustin is great, but Iâm not sure what going toe to toe with a 52 year old man for 10+minutes does for Malakai Black. The buggered up finish sort of put his kick over in a weird way, Black kicked Dustin so hard in the shoulder that his mouth bled.
Surely Remsburg reffing his mate Rubyâs matches is a conflict of interest

Anyone else feel like the dissension in the Dark Order is leading to Bray Wyatt?

He was released on July 31st, so if he has the standard 90 Day No Compete that takes him to October 29th which would be a Friday for an episode of Rampage.
Something Iâve always wondered when someone is released- are they able to negotiate with someone during that 90 Day (or whatever is in their contract) timeframe so long as they donât appear on any shows? Iâve always understood it to be a case of theyâre still under WWEâs umbrella but theyâve been given 90 Days notice
Obviously theres the Brodie connection by putting him with Dark Order, but I honestly donât know if theyâd go with it or not. Rubbish dark spooky heels to goofy babyface back (potentially) to dark heels is a bit of flip-flopping just for the sake of it.Â
If Bray does come in, and I expect he will at some point, I could maybe see him feuding with a face Dark Order, kind of a âI helped create this, now Iâm going to destroy itâ sort of thing -
There was one like that in the pub opposite our Sixth Form college. One day we decided to buy a pack each as it claimed there were âover 100 to collectâ ( because letâs face it none of us were getting laid using one of them) just to see what weâd get. It was like buying a kinky Kinder Egg.
They came in packs of two,  one was Sweep from Sooty, moulded arms and ears the works, while the other had a picture of Jon Bon Jovi on it, quite literally giving love a bad name

I think Bryan Danielson's new remixed theme might make me hate him.
Apparently they did try to get The Final Countdown but it was more than Tony Khan was willing to pay. Considering they did get clearance for Pixiesâ most famous track, Final Countdown mustâve been ridiculously expensiveÂ

As it stands, what are we thinking of a card for it?
Â
I'm guessing something along the lines of, but could be totally wrongÂ
Â
The Bunny&Penelope Ford v Anna Jay&Tay Conti
Womens title match Britt Baker v Ruby SohoÂ
Without sounding like Iâm pulling apart your card, which I appreciate is purely speculative, I donât think either of these feuds have got the legs to last until the next PPV. Full Gear is in 10 & a half weeks, so 10 episodes of Dynamite and Rampage each. Thereâs no way theyâre going to be able to keep those feuds hot enough until then.

Hollywood Blonds v P&P
Theyâll have an even tougher time building that one.
Depending when exactly Cody comes back (thereâs been reports saying heâs due back by the end of the month), I reckon we could get the rematch between him and Malakai

I donât think much to Emi Sakura as it is, but her music in AEW is fucking horrific

I want to say that he took a bit of playful banter the wrong way on here and decided to not post anymore. Someone mentioned in the âOld Poster Ouija Boardâ thread that theyâd seen him posting on FacebookÂ

Am I going mad or did WWE do a couple of tag team cage matches where people were required to tag in and out? Seems silly now but Iâm certain Iâve seen one.
Â
I honestly canât think of one in WWE but I could well be wrong. The only match like that that I can remember was one between The Horsemen and The Rock nâ Roll Express that was on the first âWrestlingâs Greatest Steel Cage Matchesâ DVD

But there are no tags!
Shouldnât tag matches have tags?!
And there in lies the issue for a lot of people. They talk about having brought back Tag Team wrestling, whereas their style is âdo a few minutes with tags, then a load of double team stuff where tags go out of the windowâ. FTR are probably a better shout for having brought back Tag Team wrestling in its traditional form- beating down the face, building that sense of âhe kicked out that but he canât take much more of this, he needs to make the tagâ and then hit the hot tag- but theyâre guilty of just doing the double team stuff towards the end too. Thatâs just the way the modern style is. If they wanted to take it back to that more âtraditionalâ Tag Team style, itâs not as if they havenât got people on the payroll who can teach that style
Im not a Bucks fan by any stretch of the imagination but I enjoyed the Cage Match this weekend and the match with Omega & Hangman last year

You have to request to be executed by the electric chair, so if anything those inmates are quite enthusiastic about it

As mentioned above, it's be far better to let these dinosaurs tour to dwindling audiences which are literally dying out. Chubby used to be one of the biggest draws in the country, especially in the North. About 3yrs ago his manager approached me for a date! Going from playing to thousands in large theates to approaching venues that hold a few hundred, that's the payoff.
Stuff like this just plays into the weaponised victimhood of the right. Let him play to half empty rooms rather than reinforce the myth that he's being silenced by the Liberal elite.
Thatâll be around the last time I heard anything about him (I genuinely thought he was dead until yesterday).
I remember a few years back, similar timeframe to the one you mentioned, I saw that he was booked at Hull City Hall the following week. Out of morbid curiosity and knowing that the website allows you to pick your seats, I had a look to see how well the show had sold. I counted around 35 tickets for the whole venue. I donât know if the show actually went ahead or not, but I remember thinking at the time âwell at least thatâs going to put an end to him and those like himâ, only for those acts to seemingly continue and have something of a resurgence in the wake of Brexit.
