I said way back when this fight was announced that it was stupid to throw him in there with someone like Cannonier. There is literally no upside for the guy. If he'd won, would we all look back in years to come at the time he beat Jared fucking Cannonier?

I saw it the other way round. A chance to get Cannonier over. That seems to be the sole purpose of Silva these days.

As predictable as Meltzer giving a Kenny Omega in Japan match all of the stars, as predictable as me making one of my hilarious "Jokes" again and again and again.  Wrights knock it out of the park yet again.

Is that David Dickinson's nob where a sausage should be?

Man, it must suck to lose your relatively easy big money fight. He'd probably figured on banking that coin, and now he realises that Jones is the only fight close to "big money" out there for him.

Seeing DC cry his way into retirement will be something special.

That cut is going to be brutal for him too, surely, He struggled (cheated) enough towards the end of his LHW run. Two years or so at HW aren't going to make it any easier.

Is that even a real person? KSW need to get on the dog and bone to this fucker. This has got Mariusz Pudzianowski megafight written all over it. Fuck it, have him step in against Anthony Joshua in June.

Muscle flab. How does a human end up looking like that!?

    Wrestling Reality: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCanzciGkIKYFPecHC0XUBfw

Breaks nearly every rule I listed, but awesome nonetheless. It's 15 minute recaps of each Raw and Smackdown and 5 minute recaps of the various 1-hour WWE shows. But it's not just a set of clips, it's everything on the show. It's every key line from every segment and then virtually every spot from every match, with all the restholds, transitions, waffle etc cut out. A little bit jarring to watch but by far the most efficient way to keep up without worrying about missing something.

Does anyone know if anything like this still exists out there? The channel quoted above has been taken down but the description of its content almost completely matches what I'm looking for.

No.  The PM doesn't have to be an MP, so he wouldn't need to be elected an MP to become PM.

    Are you sure?

I doubted myself but everything I read says they have to be ... unless they get in by being a member of the House of Lords but that hasn't been done for 100 years.

    No.

He's saying people wouldn't know to vote for him because his real name is something else. People would have to vote for him to make him an MP if he were to then become PM. So on some stupid small level it's correct.

Yes, I know, in reality it doesn't work like that. Yes, I know, in reality the name thing wouldn't play out like that.

Yeah, that's not how becoming a Prime Minister works.

It's sort of right though, isn't it. He would have to be voted for as an MP in order to become PM.

239 in July looks ridiculous already.

    Jon Jones vs Thiago Santos

    Amanda Nunes vs Holly Holm

Junior Dos Santos vs Francis Ngannou

    Jan Blachowicz vs Luke Rockhold

    Ben Askren vs Jorge Masvidal

    Some card, that.

    Wow. That's 5 main events.

"MPs in the party have said they might reluctantly back the agreement if they know she will not be in charge of the next stage of negotiations with the EU."

Help me out here. What negotiations are there to be had if the bloody deal has been accepted? How does the deal go from being something you can't support to something you can just because May is gone? Utter, utter self-serving bullshit.

He's a young man with a significant other and two children. Sorry bud, but when you become a father you shouldn't be out living the nightlife, cavorting with other women and generally being a terrible example of a father.

If he wanted to live that life he should have kept his dick in his pants.

Totally agree. Fuck your own life up all you want so long as it doesn't harm others.

There’s just too many little things that add up into an overall shitty vibe with him now. Off the top of my head you can add in him calling Andre Fili a “faggot”, going on like a nutcase at that Bellator show and actually hitting one of the event staff, the court cases for speeding and what have you, the talk of him getting that other girl pregnant. There’s just too much for me now. There’s much bigger celebrities than Conor McGregor who don’t happen to find themselves wrapped up in negative shit every other week.

Exactly. There's just too much smoke for there to not be at least some fire.

The worst look in all of this is the way the 'hard man' thing seems to have gone to his head. In those clips he doesn't only look wasted he also seems to be strutting around like he's about to punch anyone who looks at him the wrong way. (Or slap a phone out of their hand, I guess). He's not just dancing whilst off his tits, he's going through the same head movement and shadow boxing moves he would before a walk out. Just comes over as a right tit.

It looks like McGregor and Kavanagh may have parted ways. They haven't spoken since the Khabib fight. And Conor has been seen training elsewhere.

If you recall, Kavanagh felt that McGregor's gameplan should have been more aggressive. McGregor has recently parroted this assertion on his Instagram and made reference to an "outside influence" who influenced that approach. Conor went on to say he won't make the same mistake twice. It's possible that McGregor has latched on to Kavanagh's explanation and thrown Kavanagh under the bus in the process.

Of course, Khabib is simply all wrong for him. Conor has the game to beat him. But more often than not, respective of his gameplan, he'll come up short. But I guess it's a way for Conor nurse his ego. I think Cerrone is a good fight for him. Cerrone has a tendency to get rocked in the early stages of fights. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Conor is able to catch him early.

I agree. Cowboy is a slow starter and Mcgregor is most dangerous at the start of a fight. Mcgregor wants it on the feet and Cowboy can get sucked into a brawl. It's a very good choice of opponent for Mcgregor, in my opinion. I wouldn't be shocked by a first round KO at all. That'll set Mcgregor up nicely for Khabib 2.
