  1. Amazing things happening in the North West Counties League Premier Division. Huge year for Wythenshawe.
  2. They're an absolute delight at the moment. Everyone just seems like they're having fun and being themselves at the moment, no-one more than these two.
  3. Better news on the HOME front after some huge protests.
  4. A couple of underrated moments from the main event was McAfee making a Little Naitch reference and Charles Robinson ruefully handing The Rock his Mamma Rhodes belt as he helped Reigns out of the ring. Cracked me up.
  5. They can't do that anymore. The Rock is on the board. He's in charge. He can just veto that suggestion. It wouldn't make any sense. I don't think Rollins looks a loser. The build-up to this has had a lot in it about Rollins stating that taking down the Bloodline is bigger than anything else going on. He sacrificed his personal gain for the bigger story. It's rare for wrestling to actually tell that story and follow through with it and I thought they did this side of things superbly. Rollins still comes out of this hugely popular. He's still busy the other side of it. He's got potential stories with Rhodes and Punk and even McIntyre to go.
  6. Reigns suddenly doing the "I got this on my own" act wouldn't have made any sense at all. The whole Bloodline saga has been about family and it being bigger than one person.
  7. I still hear people's arguments that two nights is too much. It is a lot. But the way I see it is that it's WrestleMania. It's the biggest wrestling show of the year and one of the biggest live events of any kind of the year. It *should* be a weekend of stuff, with a Hall of Fame and an NXT show and a Smackdown. I think next year they just need to work a bit harder on the matches across the card, they were bailed out a bit by almost every match and angle delivering something good.
  8. The last year's been a testing ground for just how popular Rhodes actually is. He stayed as such all the way through. Whatever doubts anybody may or may not have had last year should have been put to bed through the last year and him staying hot, and if nothing else for that superb feud and trilogy of matches with Brock Lesnar.
  9. Night 2! Rollins vs McIntyre - everything it should have been and more. From Rollins' hilariously stupid entrance to the early Claymore through a really good match to McIntyre's trolling of Punk (who was superb on commentary obvs) being his undoing and then my boy Priest's cash-in - absolutely great stuff. A few too many finisher kickouts for me but chaotic in all the right ways. I just think Priest is fantastic and he's been booked like a knob so hopefully they'll turn him babyface and at least have him feud with someone good to elevate him again. 6 man tag - didn't allow Karrion Kross to suck all the good faith out of the stadium by being utterly ridiculous and overbooked, with Scarlett and B-Fab getting the best spot! Snoop Dogg was great on commentary too, which was excellent all night. LA Knight vs AJ Styles - didn't care a shit about this but about as tolerable an LA Knight match as I've seen. AJ's got nowhere left to go now, has he? I bet Slim Jims are shit. Logan Paul vs Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens - another Logan Paul banger, he's still got a 100% record. Ridiculous. I don't think anyone seems to be enjoying their job more than Randy Orton right now. He's having the time of his life and his stuff with IShowSpeed was so funny. I hope they keep his stuff with Owens going. Loved this. Bayley vs Iyo Sky - so I finally saw a decent Iyo Sky match even if the whole thing was overshadowed by Dakota Kai's outfit. Really, really good and I think the crowd might have rioted if Bayley didn't win. They *loved* her and she's getting the reactions they always wanted for her. Better late than never. Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns - it doesn't matter how good a match is, if you sit and think about it logically it falls apart. That applies to every match ever wrestled. So picking this apart for being overbooked or illogical is pointless. The chances are that match you prefer is just as stupd in a different way. It was the massive chaotic spectacle a win of this size should have been on a Wrestlemania main event. The storytelling was brilliant too. Reigns losing because he can't let The Shield breaking up go, like he's got PTSD from it. Reliving The Rock/Cena chemistry. Solo hinting that he could be taking over by ordering Reigns about. Rollins sacrificing everything to take down the Bloodline. Cody calling in some favours. It was everything the Bloodline story has been at its best the last several years and added a layer or two onto it. Fantastic. So a cracking night. Next year they should try and make both nights as good as each other. I'm never staying up to watch them both again though. I thought I was dying when I woke up this morning.
  10. She actually grew on me this weekend. I still think she's a bit much at times but her natural reactions in this match and the main event were really funny and wholesome.
  11. Pat McAfee's "shit" at the end reminded me of this:-
  12. Muttering to myself at half 3 in the morning when The Shield's music hit - "He'd better fucking not be back...."
  13. Rhea's theme music is fucking awful as well and I think less of her that she likes that band.
  14. Jesus. Forget small dick energy, this is microphallus spirit.
  15. Night 1! Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley - considering I can't get out of bed, walk, eat, drink, talk or breathe for a week when I have a cold, Becky's efforts in this match can't be understated. An amazing achievement, and a really good match, too. The right result but they have to start building CREDIBLE opponents for Rhea now after this. Otherwise another year will go by and nobody will remember a single one of her matches. Tag team ladder match - fun, for what it was. R-Truth the clear highlight again and if you didn't smile at him finally winning one then stay away from me you horrible person. God I hate New Catch Republic and I'm glad their intro graphics failed. Rey and Andrade vs Dirty Dom and Escobar - also fun. I haven't seen much of Andrade at all but what little I have I think he's pretty good. Escobar is also really good and has character. The double crossbody spot was superb. Jey vs Jimmy - as reported, a turd. One of the worst Wrestlemania matches of all time. Why you wouldn't make this a massive no holds barred brawl? Because by forcing them to wrestle you realise they only have two moves. I really want to like these guys but their matches these days, singles or tags, are always bad. A million superkicks and no selling, what fucking shit. An absolute waste. Bianca, Jade and Naomi vs Damage Control - Bianca, Asuka and Jade being so miles clear of everyone else of this as stars made it feel uneven and weird. Somebody rescue Asuka from this crappy faction. Jade's the biggest star already. Sami Zayn vs Gunther - great stuff. As someone who thinks Rocky's crap, I took the nods to it personally. The end stretch and Gunther's heel work were both stellar. The best of the night. Cody and Seth vs Rocky and Roman - I enjoyed this but I was starting to feel it by the end. Rocky managed to get through it without dying and even managed a bump or two. The stuff with the referee was good and not overplayed. Roman looks like he needs a break and I'm uncomfortable with the 'he's only been on telly twice this year' knobheadery. He's on fucking oral chemotherapy, you twats. Leave him alone. Overall, pretty good. Not a patch on last year's night 1 but only one dud. Crowd were a bit shit but considering they were freezing their arses off, I'll let them off. What daft bastard thought to do an outside show in Philadelphia in early April? Ffs. Enjoyed commentary a lot too, I like how McAfee and Graves dip in and out of being heels depending on who's on, a much more fluid way of doing things.
  16. Ahh, ace to see you about again! Hope things are good with you and yours!
  17. Even watered down her offence will be stronger than Iyo Sky and the Pirate, who both don't look like they could beat their way out of a wet paper bag.
  18. I've watched highlights packages on YouTube like when your club's about to sign someone you've never heard of. None of them said "Giulia skills and quality moments - The new Alundra Blayze!" though.
