YouTube does it automatically if it detects a copyright infringement, if a video features music for example that's owned by a company that won't let you watch their shit on mobile devices it will straight away set it to disallow playback on mobile devices. It sucks ass. They got one of my videos for a short clip of me miming to Return of the Mack, even though the rest of that video has Type O Negative playing throughout it.
