AEW All Out 2026 Discussion

AEW will be returning to the NOW Arena in Chicago for the fifth time to host All Out.

By complete and total coincidence, WWE has announced that AAA Worlds Collide 2026 (featuring stars from AAA, NXT and WWE) will also be on the same day at roughly the same time...and also in Chicago. AEW have since announced that they'll be hosting a free afternoon block party with live music, chances to meet the wrestlers as well as some fundraising activities to support Rebel Heart.

Have AEW ever had a tag match headline a pay per view? I wonder if that Chairs, Tables and Ladders match (famously known as a CTL match) could be their first one? It certainly feels big enough.

It definitely does. However I think Ospreay's first title defense should be the main event just to make the statement that this is THE guy now.

Can see the CTL match opening and then obviously Ospreay headlining.

Great start to this event, looking forward to seeing what else is added.

Wonder why they didn't stick it on Wembley, thought it was a lock for Wembley. I guess it made sense to do the E and C vs Bucks match first, but you'd have imagined it might have shifted some extra Wembley tickets.

Stings retirement match.

Although that was special circumstances. I agree though , I think the CTL match could main event. 

If they'd done a Mercedes Willow rematch here I'd have had that main event, whenever they next face off it should do.

Just a reminder this is tonight! Both The Buy In and Tailgate Brawl shows will begin around midnight.

The pre-show matches will only be on the Tailgate Brawl show which you can watch for free on MyAEW. The Buy In show will still be on YouTube as normal.

A really good card here, I’m curious as to who they have challenge Persephone and whether or not I hope she retains depends on who it actually is. I suspect Kairi Sane is the most likely option, but I’m hoping for a returning Toni Storm (possibly a bit overly optimistic of me not knowing why she’s out in the first place) 

Bozilla would be a nice option too, but I can’t imagine they view her as significant enough to use for an open challenge. I guess Ruby Soho is possible, and I definitely wouldn’t want to see her topple Persephone. If it is her, I hope she’s been working on her ring skills.

I can’t wait for Willow/Thekla, the tag title match and - incredibly - the trios title match. I can’t believe that division feels as exciting as it now does but fair play to them for turning things around.

I’m intrigued to see what Steve Borden has to offer in a PPV match too. He seems incredibly green, but the body of evidence is so small right now that it’s difficult to know just how true that is. 

2026, for me, has been the best year ever for AEW and I’m buzzing for tonight.

I had hoped the mystery opponent would be Bayley. She cuts such a tragic figure during her recent WWE appearances. No-one in the industry is in more desperate need of a fresh start somewhere else.

This transition, from the Countdown show, is fucking brilliant. I’ll be rooting for Handsome Steve.

I really hope she does end up in AEW. Add her to their women’s roster and what a boost that gives an already great women’s roster. Bayley/Willow, Bayley/Shida, Bayley/Storm, Bayley, Thekla, Bayley-Mercedes - I hope she looks at those options and feels as excited about the potential as I do.

I hope Bozilla comes in at some point. She was really good at Forbidden Door last year and didn't look out of place at all alongside Mercedes and Alex Windsor and Persephone

Great looking card. Honestly not a match I'm not looking forward to, which is rare.

The countdown show is a cracker, does a lot of heavy lifting for the Ospreay/Moxley match in particular. Feels like the TV hasn't really managed to tell the story properly but the countdown does a good job of tying it in.

It's one of those double edged swords I guess, its frustrating that the TV doesn't tell it, but it also makes these countdown shows so meaningful and must watch. They always leave me more hyped than before.

Will watch this tomorrow as no chance I csn be up till 5am or whatever crazy time it finishes, but looking forward to it. Imagine the main event will be full of story.

The rest of the card has been built really well, will be a top show.

The Buy In begins in around 40 mins, Tailgate Brawl will also be airing on MyAEW at the same time too.
