Hulk Hogan: Real American Trailer

I know The Lapsed Fan isn't too liked and yeah they can be annoying but listening to them go back to the very start of Hogan's career just shows that there's entire years Hogan and WWE like to forget ever happened, even within the company. I didn't even realise he had a few main events with Bob Backlund while a heel.

It's a good thing TLF are doing with the Hogan series and i've learned and enjoyed loads of it but the live watchalong format doesnt suit them at all. Would really like them to get back to watching stuff pre show and talking about it with notes on air if they're going to talk about specific one off matches because both of them sat there awkwardly going "ohhh yeah look at that" and trying to ram the jokes in between isn't working as well for me.  I get it might be a case of them having too much on though. Overall though the TLF series I think it's the only time i've learned or heard anything worth listening to about Hulk Hogan in a very very very very long time, possibly the first time, so fair play to them.

The best TLP Hogan moment was when they did the episodes of the 90s steroid trial and they pretended Hogan was paranoid of getting rolled up for a fast count etc. I found that really funny.

With wrestling fans being the insanely high adopters of edits and preservation that they are, it's a wonder nobody's chopped TLF up yet to make an absolutely brilliant, informative, funny longform wrestling podcast that just drops the gazillion hours of them going "We're the Lapsed Fan. That's the Lapsed Fan. We got what you need. Yeah, stick it in there. The LAPSED FAN. Yeah! You know it. We're here for 'ya. The Lapsed Fan, that is. Can't do without us. Even this bit you hate you secretly love. Clever, isn't it?"

It's just a touch TOO indulgent, and the constant revert to an impression (Vince or Fritz Von Erich for example) just try my patience too much so I've never got on with TLF.
