Wand, I noticed you said in the preview that you haven't seen Colby fight, I actually hadn't either but knew of his reputation. Had a look through YouTube the other day and was able to find all 7 of his pro fights, mostly full fights with a couple in highlight form.

One of the more popular videos on there sees Colby get a little flack in the comments as he gets cracked and hurt early before winning a decision. But it was only his second pro fight and his opponent, Semakadde Kakembo, isn't too shabby. Lost his last fight to Jarrett WIlbraham, another Freestyle guy that's gotta be on the verge of a UFC call, by decision, but otherwise doing well. And it did show Colby's chin and toughness.

Where Colby's bread and butter is, is the ground game. He's good on offense in striking but defensively in those early fights left himself open quite a bit. In those seven fights, you can see him tightening some of that up, but basically once he gets the back or gets it to the ground, that's where those first round finishes are coming in.

Cheers I might try and squeeze a watch of all his fights in before next weekend then. Might see what’s about of Topuria as well while I’m at it.

Well if that’s the case then me too! I, too, am “udefeated” in the UFC.

More than that, you're undefeated in MMA! What a loser he is.

It really annoys me when Aussie media does stuff like this. Maybe they actually know the score but just figure it'll generate clicks/sales, but on the surface it just seems like they've fallen for Strickland's act.

It's not limited to him either. Any time a fighter or sportsman says something outlandish that's pretty clearly just drumming up hype/trying to be a showman, whether it's a local or international star, these outraged headlines gets printed, kinda makes Aussies in general look gullible for taking things at face value.

You know a card is bad when the UFC didn't even bother to put a single Australian fighter on the podium for the press conference this week.

Yeah this one is so bad I've cancelled the annual ppv get-together with my mates. After working and performing on Wednesday and my 10 year anniversary today I'm not entertaining staying up till 6am for a ppv with this outing unfortunately.

I literally only care about the last two fights with the main being the only one I really really care about (I'm praying for Strickland to win so we get a Strickland Vs khamzat fight and back and forth, it will make Bryce Mitchell look like a saint)

As much as I defend the UFC this card is unacceptable and wouldn't pass as a fight night card which is really shocking which is why I've gave them a slight pass but jesus.

Let's hope the top two show up and make headlines
