Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted February 10, 2025 Author Paid Members Posted February 10, 2025 I’m all for this Strickland pile-on in the aftermath of this fight. Rockhold will make a fan out of me yet. And the best thing is, what’s Strickland gonna do about it if he runs into Rockhold? Jab, circle, teep and split decision him to death? Quote

Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 12, 2025 Paid Members Posted February 12, 2025 The most aggravating thing about Strickland is that he should have been so much better. He's someone who cites MMA as having been the influence that turned him away from neo-Nazi ideology and got him out of a crappy life, but then he goes on to spout that shit. I hope he never regains the top spot, and, with DDP as champ and Chimaev up there as well, it doesn't look likely. Don't like Chimaev at all, but I hope he faces Strickland at some point and butchers him. Quote

I completely agree with this I was stunned how cautious and reserved he was through every single round, he let the pressure and DDP remained in control. I'm beyond impressed and how both fight camp's went with Darius learning and changing mistakes he made to significantly prepare With Sean remaining as it was with no changes or studying which this time drops Strickland's aura and placement in the rankings. I'm salivating at the next fight give me khamzat Vs DDP and give it immediately sign me up. Quote

But yeh - I suppose it would be reasonable to expect someone who'd been through all that to have a bit more of a scrap in him. Edited February 12, 2025 by Carbomb Ronaldão Quote
