AndyUK
I can separate the wrestler from his politics so I don't care too much. I do find it funny how Kane was considered one of the most intelligent people in the business by his peers though. Says a lot.  Edited October 19 by AndyUK

Always wonder if like we all point out Taker being a dodgy t-shirt wearing shit and being a dickhead, do people on the other side of the spectrum grumble at Punk or hate his work being pro-trans rights and pro-palestine very openly. Same for Sami. Edited October 19 by Chili

In some ways it was irrelevant because no one was bringing him back and giving anyone the moral dilemma but I think the Warrior predates them in publicising horrendous views that would have made him someone no decent person could enjoy. I have some fond memories of him as a character, including my favourite ever match, that I can separate due to my childhood nostalgia but I couldn't ever have enjoyed his work after his real opinions made their way into my mind. Taker is someone who I have retrospectively soured on for years since he outed himself as a dogshit human being. Being completely honest, even without his views, there is plenty about his wrestling persona to start the process anyway. His early 2000s reign of terror, his sham "lockerroom leader" stuff and the fact that save for some brilliant, nostalgic angles and matches, about 80% of his career was rubbish angles, dreadful matches and pissing about with Kane. I'm sure you're probably right about them all being lunatics but while some have the good sense not to out themselves as such, I'll happily judge the twats who do and not enjoy them anywhere near as much.
