The former Soul Train Jones isn't in a good way by the sounds of it. He's had two "massive" strokes, and also been diagnosed with the early stages of dementia.It's an awful shame.

Not much sympathy for Virgil and his plight? Assume it's because people think it's a stunt for money. 

Hope he's okay and able to get back out there grifting soon.

Sure it’s sad but I think those of us in our late 30s/early 40s are becoming a bit desensitised to to the stars of our childhood running into inevitable health difficulties. That Hasbro photo when The Bad Guy died hammered home how many are gone already. There’s starting to be fewer of the Teddy/Honky generation left alive than dead. When Bret goes I’ll probably give up on wrestling altogether.

Definately, because I've had one and I noticed. I was in the hospital for three months. Still can't really feel my left hand side and that was three years ago.

Virgil has announced that he's also battling Stage 2 Colon Cancer.
