Paid Members Carbomb Posted March 14 Paid Members Share Posted March 14 Binge-watched this a while ago (was on season six when André Braugher passed), and it's genuinely one of my favourites now. Any success, even a small one, is now an excuse to yell "Bingpot!" whether someone's around or not. And Doug Judy is one of the greatest guest characters ever, if not the greatest. One thing I liked in particular about how Peralta was written was that his childishness was limited to just that. Very often, you expect a character like that to be written as completely unlikeable, because a whole load of other unpleasant qualities are connected to the immaturity, like self-centredness, inconsideration, etc., but instead he comes across as this lovely bloke who goes to bat for his mates and does stand up for good principles that he subscribes to. He's essentially everything the writers of Scrubs wanted JD to be and completely fucked. SuperBacon
I think Sambergs likability plays a big part too. Just seems a great dude.
