The final scores went into the opening post during Raw yesterday morning, and the updated table was uploaded last night. The above-average scoring makes me wonder if we shouldn't have such a simple set of fixtures all the time. Although MVP RULZ was the joint worst performer this time out, alongside Mungo Chutney on 5 points apiece, he still leads by 19 points, and should still wrap up the title as long as he is back from honeymoon in time to play the next round. Instead, it's worth concentrating on the race for the runners-up spot and how it's all gone wrong lately for TildeGuy. He's been clear in second place for months, and until a few weeks ago, looked to be in with a chance of overhauling the leader. Now, both this week's top scorer snowman dave and equal second-best picker Del have overtaken him. With only one round left to go, this battle will be the real one to watch. If only there were a prize for it!

At the other end, the gap has widened again by one point back to 3, but with 78 up for grabs in the forthcoming bumper week, that could all change in the final reckoning too. As for the matches - widely expected wins for Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man City (pity the brave souls who thought they might not succeed), Arsenal and Spurs, i.e. the top 6, all proved fruitful. Draws at Craven Cottage and St Mary's, plus away victories for Swansea and Stoke, were a tad tougher to foresee, although not massively so.

A new card, the last of the season, will be on its way in a new thread very soon.
