Â I've been beating this drum since MITB got it's own PPV, but I think the perfect replacement for it in terms of a) 'Wrestlemania moment' stuntfest & b) getting several guys onto the card is a ladder match with both midcard belts suspended. That match would be a great way to do it. Â You could either do match continues until both belts are claimed (so plenty of possibility for intrigue i.e. one guy gets both, the champs going in swap belts by the end etc.) or finish after one is taken (so there the intrigue is things like, late in the match does an ailing IC Champ continue to battle to win the US strap or does he play defence in order to keep what he currently has).
