PSF
Brodus clay only lost 8 matches?
Paid Members Nexus Posted January 1, 2013 Author Paid Members Share Posted January 1, 2013 He was unbeaten until the Rumble, then he was off TV until March. Â He was on a 21 match winning streak until May 28th. He was banned from Raw until JL was fired, and lost his first match (against Big Show) on June 25th. He's also lost to Sandow in August, but since then he's only really been squashing again, so that figure does seem about right.

Paid Members gadge Posted January 1, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 1, 2013 Bray Wyatt and Husky Harris listed separately! Â interesting list, 205 matches in a year is a heck of a lot.. Â The likes of Yoshi Tatsu and JTG who didn't manage one match a week must be imminently expendable.

King Pitcos
They need to stop making Ziggler look like an oaf. Brodus Clay's win % is incredible for someone so shite. Â Ziggler is a heel without a title who main-events on the road. Even if he won every match on telly, his win/loss record would still be bad. I doubt he'd swap his year's results (and pay) with Kofi Kingston's, or Brodus Clay's.
MrK
Surprised that CM Punk who was champion for every day of 2012 only won 67% of his matches. Â Does that mean a lot of house shows involved him getting counted out/DQ'd?

Triple H was the top heel, and even in the times he wasn't champ, he was almost unbeatable, whilst still being an ass clown. Ziggler could be that guy. And you wouldn't get people saying "he can't be champ because he always loses." Â The thing about Clay's win % is, why try and make someone look strong when they're just a bit rubbish? And you wouldn't get people saying "he can't be champ because he always loses." Â Triple H lost a lot of house show main events in 2000 though, either in tags or the same kind of DQ finishes Punk always loses by now. Although back then, he'd sometimes defend the title in a midcard match against a scrub like Test and win. I think it was only towards the end of the invasion era when JR started booking the house shows and making them reflect the upcoming PPV matches. For much of the attitude era, I think business being so strong meant the cards were a bit more random. You could do Kane vs HHH main events and still sell tickets, even if Rock vs HHH was the PPV feud. Â Ziggler losing so much on TV is another matter, but that comes back to what Nicko was saying in the Raw thread. Dolph makes his opponents look great and isn't a particularly effective character still. His best use has been making the brogue kick, RKO, GTS etc look devastating. Without all those super-bump performances that have put the loser label on him, he wouldn't have got so much attention anyway.
