The Natural
WWE.com has learned John Cena had surgery to remove bone chips in his elbow today. A surgery like this will take four to six weeks to recover. As more information comes available, WWE.com will inform the WWE Universe.  Wonder who Punk will get at the Hell in a Cell PPV? Paid Members CuckedByMenry Posted September 18, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2012 Pfft, he'll be back next week with the smallest plaster he can find.
Guest
Is hitc not October 28th, 5 weeks away?
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 18, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2012 Isn't the Hell in a Cell PPV in 6 weeks? Â EDIT: October 28. He'll be back for then.
The Natural
Just looked for the Hell in a Cell PPV date, 28th of October. With how quick John Cena's come back from other injuries, he will probably be back in time.
King Pitcos
Cena must be the toughest bastard there is. He seems to be perpetually injured and he's constantly working. Is "medically cleared" a real thing in WWE these days? They can't promote it for five weeks and just hope he'll get the doctor's nod in time, surely. Killjoy_Gee
Now question is, will he be on TV during this time? Â Considering they promoted the fact that his new Cancer tee is only for 4-6 weeks for October
Paid Members JNLister Posted September 18, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2012 I wouldn't be surprised if he's had the problem for ages and took the long break between PPVs as an opportunity to get it fixed.
Dirty Eddie
It makes sense to do it now as he has a twisted ankle too, so he can kill two birds with one stone.

Paid Members PunkStep Posted September 18, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 18, 2012 Now question is, will he be on TV during this time? Of course he will. Whenever Austin was injured from 97-99 (until that fat Samoan ran him over), he was still all over tv. Be mad not to.
GPW Kristian Zane
Be good news if the writing team were bold enough to elevate someone else while Cena can't wrestle but they won't Cena will still be on tv. I wish they would though.
