wmxxx Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I'm having some problems with my connection to ea servers and psn so it might mean i cant play my fixtures in the next few days till im sorted. I have managed to play Everton (rohpete has probably taken more points of me than any other player over the seasons, even though i tend to dominate games he keeps getting a result) so only have Man City game outstanding at the minute.  Very happy with Pirlo as my latest player but im definitely in the market for a forward and possible new full backs. Jesus Navas opened the scoring in the 4th minute when he rose highest at the far post to nod in a cross. Torquay equalised in the 15th minute when a Van Persie through ball sent Samir Nasri through on goal, and the new boy held off the attentions of a defender to put the ball into the back of the net. Fiorentina hit back straight from the kickoff when good work down the right stretched the Torquay defence, allowing Luis Suarez room to pick his spot to put La Viola back in front. Torquay had a great chance to equalise when a foul in the box lead to a penalty, but Van Persie's effort from the sport was well saved by Cech, who guessed the right way. The Gulls did get an equaliser in the 39th minute when Di Natale's initial effort was saved but the ball popped back up into the air and Di Natale was first to the ball to nod it into an empty net.  It didn't take too long for the Italians to regain the lead after the break when in the 51st minute Sergio Aguero evaded the Torquay defence and scored with a lovely finish when through on goal. Torquay had an excellent chance to equalise later in the game but Van Persie's effort when left in acres of space in the box somehow went wide. The Gulls were made to pay late on in the game when La Viola put the game beyond doubt with the goal of the game when a pinpoint cross into the box was volleyed home by Jesus Navas. The result was perhaps harsh on Torquay but once again class was the difference. After three losses in three games it's time for The Gulls to try a different formation to try and stop their leaky defence, whilst Fiorentina look like a good side who'll be hard to beat.  Fiorentina goals: Navas (4', 84'), Suarez (17'), Aguero (51')  Torquay goals: Nasri (15'), Di Natale (39') Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mentioned before about a feature that would be added when the transfer window rolled around, and that feature is the free agency pool.  Basically, everyone will get a choice of two free players to flesh out their squad. It's first come first served to to get the players, and, to reduce the strain on stunstone's inbox, to claim your two players just write 'I would like to claim Player A and B' in bold. Claims can start when the transfer window begins and claims end when the window ends. I'll try to confirm transfers tomorrow night but it'll be late on so you may have to wait until Wed for the deals to go through but feel free to PM me. I'll try to get the transfer rumours/golden boot lists up sometime on Tuesday afternoon. Have fun!!  EDIT - Just so there's no conflict of interests when it comes to transfers involving myself, I along with the manager of the other team will PM TUFC for transfer confirmation.
