Further reports are now saying that wwe.com have removed the 'she is expected to make a full recovery' from their report. Doesn't sound good. Sounds like it could be a bit serious. Hope not, I love Lilian :(

Another story from lordsofpain.net....- Former World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page tells Josh Stewart of Newsday.com that WWE Legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts is moving into one of his Atlanta-area homes to train for one more pro wrestling run.Beginning today, Roberts will move in with Page and the two will begin training while cameras film for a planned documentary. The idea is to get the 57 year old Roberts back in good enough shape for one more run. Page told Newsday.com that Roberts' weight had ballooned up to 302 lbs.Page had one stipulation before beginning the project - Roberts must do his DDPYOGA program for 6 or 8 weeks. Roberts began the program in Texas, and was filmed, and lost 20 lbs. in the first 3 1/2 weeks of training. Roberts has lost about 35 lbs. so far.Besides the physical training, DDP and filmmaker Steve Yu will help Roberts get up to date on using things like Facebook and Twitter. Roberts will also be drug tested while he is in the house and Page says if Roberts fails, he's gone."Bottom line is, everybody wants the comeback story,

That DDP/Jake thing sounds very interesting. It would be mad if Jake sorted his shit out after all these years and ended up with a gig in creative somewhere (the job he's always been destined for - if he can keep clean).

In other "fat old wrestler news".....

It seemed that when Shane Douglas turned up on his Extreme Rising show looking like a fat turd and got mocked by the crowd, he learned his lesson afterwards. He put out a video apologising for the poor matches on the card and claimed that he realised he was past it and would not be wrestling on his show again.

Well, it turns out, fuck that!! Here is the line-up for the next show...

MAIN EVENT

"The Franchise" Shane Douglas vs. Matt Hardy w/Reby Sky

EXTREME REMATCH

Sabu vs. Devon Storm

ONE ON ONE

Jerry Lynn vs. Homicide

TAG MATCH

FBI vs. BLK Out

HARDCORE LUCHA

Bestia vs Pesadilla

Perry Saturn vs. Luke Hawx

Stevie Richards vs. Papadon

And more matches to be announced.

Additional talent confirmed and scheduled to appear: RHINO, THE SANDMAN, THE ORIGINAL GANGSTA NEW JACK, THE BLUE MEANIE, BALLS MAHONEY, FA

Could anyone imagine Jake Roberts working 18 hour days in WWE's creative team? He tried it when he was younger and he slept for 75% of his shift and pissed on the floor for the rest of it.

I was thinking more of an advisory role or working with younger talents in developmental or something, not even particularly with WWE. He'd never work as one of Stephanie's lackeys/monkeys.The whole thing hinges on him not been a doped up piss-head though really. Michael Hayes has clearly led a life of debauchery, but he's been able to curb his shit enough to stay employed for years at a high level. I guess I'd just like Jake to not be a totally sad story.

wow what a terrible poster and their logo blatant rip off of the old WWF logo? Speaking of the Extreme Uprising thing, i thought Jerry Lynn was retiring, that just states it as a normal match nothing to do with a retirement tour.
