Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted May 21, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2011 Sounds pretty exciting for RoH. I've not watched or followed the promotion at all since 2008, but may check out the new show online. I've stopped bothering with TNA recently, so this may fill that void nicely. AJS269
We will see what happens here. If ROH is solidly booked and gains enough momentum, they may even have a shot at Number 2 promotion in the US, they might need a few big names though.
Tommy Atkins
Is this anything to do with Sir Clive? Will the Briscoes be coming to the ring on C5s?
Dil|kid
SBG group includes networks NBC, abc, MyTV, Fox, The CW Network and CBS. Â Plus the TV show would be available online. sweet!
Hyperion
No mention of Dave Lagana there. Still I like how the last name of the guy buying it is 'Marks'.    Joe Koff  "Huhuhuhuh He said 'Jerkoff'", "heh heh heh heh"

Paid Members Kaz Hayashi Posted May 21, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2011 it can only be a good thing really, ive not been a follower over recent years, not for any particular reason, this has spiked my interest again though!
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted May 21, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2011 Shades of Turner buying WCW, perhaps? Â Amazing news for ROH, considering they've been running in the red for sometime. Nuts that we may have three wrestling promotions on major networks. I'm hoping ROH can be the competition we all know wrestling needs (TNA isn't going anywhere with the current set-up).
Cobra1000
I think this can only be a positive for wrestling. I mean they are a long way from becoming the number #2 promotion lets not be silly but having a 3rd company which has a weekly TV Show, that most importantly is easy to access and has the support of its network is a really positive thing for a wrestling fan. Paid Members Carbomb Posted May 21, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 21, 2011 I hope this means they'll start having hardcore matches where they have to blast each other with Spectrum +2 machines.
RepoMan
Personally I'm looking forward to the increased production values. Interested to see what they can pull out of the bag. I enjoy some of the in-ring product but it often looks shitty.

Paid Members Dearly Devoted Dexter Posted May 22, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted May 22, 2011 Too early to say/ speculate how this will all play out, so I'll confine myself to saying judging from what I've read about the compnay, the phrase "right-wing crackpots" springs to mind. I also assume Daniels will be off to TNA exclusively again. Â Sinclair Broadcast Group Wiki Entry
