Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted April 27, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted April 27, 2011 Yes when they started up again I saw mention of that man and in Danny Rodd's friend list on Facebook were 3 Maurice Brooks, all with barely any friends and details that don't match on the other profiles, that all only had Rodd in common, that seems to be no longer the case now but I found the accounts, all strangely starting up at the same time as the company re-registered. Brookes stood as an 'English Democrat' candidate and came last obtaining 21.4% of the vote. Only 25.7% of the electorate voted making this an extremely low turnout. All have been announced via Facebook, but only be looking in the photo album for each event as far as I can tell.  Road to Destiny (27th May) Burridge vs Jimmy Havoc (Tournament semi-final) Zack Sabre Jr vs Lionheart (Tournament semi-final - Zack is replacing an unavailable Martin Kirby) Kid Kash vs Val Kabious (No DQ)  The Last Stand (28th May) New Age Outlaws vs Fight Club Kevin Nash vs ??? World Title Finals  Unconventional (29th May) Fight Club vs Leaders  I'm gutted that Fight Club vs Leaders is at Unconventional, as there's no way I'm risking driving all that way for a 1PW show at the moment, but that's a match I want to see.  Presumably Burridge vs Lionheart will be the world title final which should be good. I'm interested in seeing Lionheart vs Zack Sabre Jr too.  An obvious omission to the show is X-Pac, who tweeted that he'll be coming to 1PW along with Kevin Nash, only to get into an argument with Danny (or whoever was in charge of the Twitter account) and 1PW seem to be going out of their way to advertise everyone but X-Pac as their way of saying that he is no longer booked - a very foolish decision since they've pissed off and disappointed so many fans over this show. I assume we would have had New Age Outlaws vs Nash and X Pac.  No word on who the two additional imports are as of yet that were announced, if they exist and are booked. No matches for Rhino, Pac, Krimson, although a photo of Krimson and Rhino is also on The Road to Destiny page.  I'm lost for words at how poor the promotion/organisation has been for this weekender, which is 3 weeks away. I can only assume that 1PW have lost interest and are only putting this event on because it will cost them too much to cancel at this stage. Whatever, it's down the road from my house and I'll pop along to the Friday show and see how things look, but fucking hell this is the worst event they have promoted and thats saying something. I missed the IPW match between them last summer, so to have the rematch on my doorstep is great. Good work, I'm finally looking forward to the show  Edit: Maybe, since Zack is replacing Kirby, Kirby takes his place in the final if Zack beats Lionheart.
